  1. Please read and follow the instructions below and post back your log and we'll take a look and see what's going on.
  2. v3.3? Are you sure? The latest version is here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3
  3. What MBAM version are you using? Which Component Package? Currently, we are at Version: 3.2.2.2029 Component: 1.0.212 Signature: 1.0.2951 Download here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3
  4. It is dangerous to run overlapping programs. It is quite possible that neither will be able to properly handle malware with the other interfering. MBAM works with AV programs, but should not be paired with other antimalware solutions. Obviously, you have a conflict with no assurance that either ESET or MBAM will be effectively managing the threat.
  5. Not to be a smarty, but are you sure you didn't reverse the entries of your ID and license values? Many have (me included).
  6. It might be a good idea to do a clean install with MB-Clean. Did that help?
  7. Reinstall over your existing installation, using the latest version downloadable from here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 Does that help?
  8. Maybe that laptop isn't yet clean... you could post here: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/7-malware-removal-for-windows/
  9. Your statement is unclear. All updates go through the app. None require the user to download from CNET.
  10. That's quite byzantine. If the license purchased from a seller is valid, I hope that MB would stand behind its product. For bogus licenses, sure, no support should be provided.
  11. Log in here with the email used to send you your license. https://my.malwarebytes.com
  12. That is not normal. Did you upgrade via the app or by download. If by app, try upgrading over your current installation with the most recent version available here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3
  13. Maybe you have a corrupt download. Have you tried re-downloading? https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3
  14. Please reinstall Malwarebytes 3.2 directly from this link.
  15. Please try upgrading to Malwarebytes v. 3.2 again - you should no longer have trouble installing on a server OS. You can download Malwarebytes 3.2 directly from this link. See thread:
  16. Assuming you have a licensed version V3 has added antimalware and antiransomware features that do not exist on v2. Also, v2 is no longer supported, although, for the current time, signature updates still occur. Version 3 is safe to use. It's been around since late 2016, and has gone through many refinements since then. Download the current v3 release here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 If you're running v2, it may be helpful to remove it using the Clean-MB tool. More info here:
  17. You mentioned you're connecting to your work VPN. Perhaps there's a connection there, or a shared VPN point that's registered to Avast. Input: 91.214.44.133canonical name: vpn-gw-prod-002.lux0-alt.ff.avast.comRegistered Domain: avast.com If the block isn't impairing your connection, I would ignore it (leave it blocked).
  18. That is an Avast VPN site. If you are using Avast, you may want to add that as an exclusion.
  19. You can download the latest MBAM version here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 Does that link work for you?
