My name is Al Montoya and I work for the company iolo technologies, owners of System Mechanic. I would like to report that several mutual customers are reporting that MalwareBytes AV is flagging our product System Mechanic 16.5 and several of our components as PUP.
The PUP team has responded stating that our application has been reviewed and has found it to trigger on a few criteria - I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SPECIFIC CRITERIA from System Mechanic 16.5 is causing MalwareBytes to flag us? Please respond with the details as soon as permissible so that we can fix\adjust the behavior on our end and possibly get it corrected on your end.
