  1. Hi @Tarun, I just wanted to know if it's possible to see your log file. I can't reproduce your issue, and the log file may give us some clues on what's happening. Thanks!
  2. Hi @Tarun, I'm sorry if I didn't understood your question, thanks for the clarification. So, you mean that "Close & Restart Now", "Close & Restart Later" and the X at the top behave the same, right? All of them reboot the system without notifying you? In that case yes, it's a bug. The X at the top should only close the dialog, it shouldn't continue to the cleaning. And "Clean & Restart Later" should continue to cleaning and display this message at the end of the process: Please, can you share the log file? Thanks!
  3. Hi @Tarun, Yes, the message is not very clear. "Clean&Restart now" means that AdwCleaner will automatically reboot you computer while "Clean&Restart Later" means that AdwCleaner will wait until the user clicks on "Restar" before rebooting. The later gives you time to finish and save your work. We're working on a solution to reboot the computer only when it's really necessary, but until then we recommend to always reboot since a lot of system processes are closed in the cleaning. Anyway, if you really don't want to reboot, you can always close AdwCleaner from the taskbar and it won't reboot the computer. Thanks!
  4. Hi @JazzyJeffJax, Yes, it's a translation error. It'll be fixed in 7.2.7. Sorry for the inconveniences.
  5. Hello, Please, can you share the content of the following registry keys? HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{E2B98EEA-EE55-4E9B-A8C1-6E5288DF785A} HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{61F47056-E400-43D3-AF1E-AB7DFFD4C4AD} HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{3CCC052E-BDEE-408A-BEA7-90914EF2964B} HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{BA0C978D-D909-49B6-AFE2-8BDE245DC7E6} HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{BA0C978D-D909-49B6-AFE2-8BDE245DC7E6} To export the content of a registry key, please follow these steps (do it for each resgistry key above): Click on Start and select Run or press Windows Key+R on your keyboard In the Run box type regedit and press Enter or click on OK and click Yes if prompted by User Account Control Navigate to the desired location by clicking the little arrows next to the appropriate folders to expand them Once there, right-click on the folder and select Export and then save the file to your desktop or another location where you will be able to find it easily and give it a name such as ExportedKey. I recommend creating a folder and saving all the exported files there. Once all the keys are exported to files, please create a ZIP file and share it. Just in case, to create a ZIP file do the following: Locate the file/folder and right-click on it and hover your mouse over Send to and select Compressed (zipped) folder Thanks!

  20. Hi, Firs of all, I would suggest to access your computer in "Safe mode with networking". If you need assistence on how to do it, please let me know and I'll guide you through it step by step. Then try this: 1. Try to download malwarebytes from here. 2. If it doesn't work, download AdwCleaner from here and launch it. Once it's opened, click on the "Try Malwarebytes Premium" orange button on the top right corner. Then click on "Download&Install" and wait until Malwarebytes is installed. Let me know if any of these worked.
  21. Hi, Can you share the scan log file again? There might've been an error while loading it since I can't download it. Thank you!
