  1. Thank you TwinHeadedEagle. I realize now that as I was running every tool and scanner available, I probably fixed the problem while making it impossible for you to find! I do appreciate your help however. I just wish I could know what the problem was. At least I learned something, don't go cleaning my pc all willy nilly. Post in here and let you guys walk me through it first. Thanks and God bless!
  2. I just opened MBAM and attempted to update and it did! I don't know if I still have a problem or not. I certainly do not wish to waste your time. But if you would like to continue running checks on my PC, I will gladly cooperate, because I was definitely experiencing some kind of problem. Thank you so much TwinHeadedEagle!
  3. I have done as you asked and here is the report. I would like to add that yesterday I reinstalled mbam and clicked update. I sat here and watched it for 5 minutes or so and it never updated, so I walked away. When I came back a couple of hours later, it had updated! So I don't know. I've done Internet speed tests and they show 30 - 50 mbps. Hopefully this info can help you with your diagnosis. 5. Ok, I have ran the mbam clean tool 2X and did not reinstall mbam. I then ran the Farbar tool as administrator and copied those files to a flash drive and brought them to another computer so they will upload. I might also mention that my PC itself seems to work good, when I click the start button, it opens right up and everything like that. Aside from MBAM not updating, all the trouble seems to be when i'm sending or receiving data from the internet. I could not upload those files for instance, signing into Google or Yahoo takes forever and often fails. So here are the files you asked for, and thank you for your assistance and patience! I might also add that other devices on the same network are not experiencing issues at all, just the one PC. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  6. Sorry, just noticed you said run the clean tool two times and without installing mbam, run the tool. Dang it. Hold on a minute I'll do that. Sorry about that.
  7. Thank you for your fast reply! I have done exactly as you requested, but when I tried to upload the report files, they would not go! They just got about half way then froze and said contact someone. So I copied the files to a flash drive and went to a different PC and here they are. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  8. Thank you! After reading the thread there about "i'm infected - what do i do now", I see I shouldn't have cleaned my PC so well. So I tried to download Farbar recovery tool from the link, but it wouldn't work, so I got it from bleepingcomputer.com. Here are those txt logs. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  9. Malwarebytes will not update. It will let me do a scan however. I have deleted MB using Revo uninstaller, and even used the MB clean tool and it still will not update. I have ran the MB anti rootkit and it found nothing. I cleaned my Windows 7 PC with CCleaner, using every option and tool available, made sure that my do not track was disabled on my browsers. I've tried everything I could find on the internet and nothing has worked. The problem i'm having is one of my computers starting getting very slow after one of my kids downloaded a Minecraft mod that was apparently some type of malware. I've deleted the mod the best I can but it's still very slow compared to my other PC's, and of course, MB will not update. Which is why i'm here. If anyone can help i'd sure appreciate it. Thanks!
