  1. Hello Malwarebytes Support Since the other poster of this issue had their thread locked, I am asking for the solution provided to the other poster. I have tried all troubleshooting listed in the locked thread and to no avail. Thanks.
  2. Thank You for your reply, TwinHeadedEagle! Much Obliged.. EG
  3. Hello Support, Forgive me if this is wrong area but Malwarebytes is flagging some Privado VPN software files as Trojan? This is new.. privado malware.txt
  4. Ok folks I can second what cchilderhose posted, looks like the fix worked so build 20246 does not have the problem. I hope soozy chimes in soon to let us know if it works too. Thanks for posting your results ccchilderhose!
  5. Hello Folks, and Soozy.. I'm installing now, hope what I've heard and what soozy posted is true! Good Luck to all of us:)
  6. In the release notes known issues section for BUILD 20241 Microsoft did say " We’re working on a fix where after taking build 20236 devices running Malwarebytes Web Protection are no longer able to connect to the network. Users can roll back to 20231 and pause updates or disable Web Protection as a workaround." So yeah it's an ongoing issue..:)
  7. Well I'm back on 20236. Those Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap error messages I was getting was apparently due to that setting I changed in Malwarebytes. The 'Block Penetration testing attacks' option located in the Exploit Protection part until Security tab in Malwarebytes. It was not enabled and I enabled it and boom, problems! When I went back to 20231 I tried the same setting and same thing happened .So I disabled that setting and went back to 20236..Good thing I keep images and backups! Be careful what you change in Malwarebytes!
  8. Thanks AdvancedSetup for posting this, and I agree with you updates can cause issues, and not just the beta channels in Windows 10. Thinking about the 'Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap' issue I had with Windows Insider Build 20236.. and for awhile the build worked until it didn't..is it possible that maybe when I changed a setting in the Malwarebytes Premium under the Security section, the Exploit Protection section there had 'Block Penetration Testing attacks' disabled. Well I enabled that setting and I think since I did that I got those Kernel Mode trap errors..hmm. Thats the only thing I can think of that I changed that may have cause issues. Is it possible? I should have left that disabled?
  9. Dammit, I had to go back to build 20231 because I later on in the day got these 'Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap' Bluescreens' and more than once. I kind of doubt it's related to the Malwarebytes issue but you never know..20236 is an odd acting Insider Build version as far as my computer goes anyways.. Good Luck to those here sticking with this thread and this Windows 10 Insider Build 20236. I will still revisit this thread to read any more forthcoming posts! Stay Safe Folks!
  10. Hello! First, thanks to Soozy for posting about this, otherwise I would never have gotten back to Windows Insider Build 20236. Went crazy trying to fix the network thing until I gave up and went back to previous build. Then I saw Soozy's post looking for possible fixes. So kudos to you Soozy for figuring that part out about Malwarebytes web protection issues. I never thought about that lol. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread! Thanks to those who paticipate here..Thanks to Exile360 for getting involved also.
