OK thank you, I did the delfix cleanup. I am sure now that the Boxcryptor sign-in caused the trouble with Malwarebytes, I tested it several times. If Boxcryptor not signed in, Malwarebytes is running fine. Thank you very much again for your support! Regards B.

Maybe this would not be necessary, because I believe I found out the cause myself by one after another de-activating some processes after (regular) booting. I use "boxcryptor", this is a file-encrypting-tool for my Cloud storage. Normally, after booting I have to sign in to my boxcryptor account to run it. I noticed that if I am signed in to the account, Malwarebytes is NOT running resp. will run only 1-2 times out of 10 attempts. If I am not signed in to the boxcryptor account, Malwarebytes will RUN. I tried it out for 4-5 times. I will try some more times and then let you know if Boxcryptor sign-in is reliable interfering Malwarebytes. Maybe that info is useful for you.

Made a clean install as above, same as before: Trying 6 times to run : 2 times running, 4 times not running. Reboot, trying again: Once running, 3 times not running, then running again. Weird Log from first scan after clean install: MBAM_Log_new2044h.txt

Sorry, did not save. But look what happened now: I tried some more times, without rebooting or doing anything at all inbetween. Try 1 : Runs Try 2: Does not run Try 3: Does not run Try 4: Runs (scanning just now, after finishing I will post le log, give it 10 minutes approx. to finish!)

No, it does not run ....nothing changed, even after reboot

I did the procedure, and Malwarebytes started. Soon after starting, there came a pop-up alert saying >> yes. The log is attached. mbam_log_withCham.txt

Would you think this is a malware causing this problem, or rather a bug of the Windows System? If it is not a malware, I would not want to steal your time here, but better wait for a future version of Malwarebytes or Windows Update which might solve it.

No, nothing has changed so far...doesn't run from the desktop shortcut.

No, it does not run. After executing the .exe, the MW icon appears in taskbar with an "attention" mark in it, and then disappears after 1-2 seconds, and nothing more happens. Screenshot is attached.
