  1. AdvancedSetup, Since I already have the Premium version of MBAM, I wanted to download and install Delfix. But the link in your here brings up "Server not found". Will do a Google search to find the manufacturer. Just wanted to let you know.
  2. Ron, Thank you very much for your assistance and perseverance with a computer-challenged person. Jacob
  3. AdvancedSetup, For a couple of days MBAM has not blocked any malicious outgoing or incoming websites. Either (a) the owners of those malicious websites have rested for the weekend, or (b) the method they were accessing my computer is no longer available. I don't think (a) is applicable. Below is Fixlog.txt. Fixlog.txt
  4. AdvancedSetup, Sophos took the longest to run, but it did not find any threats. Because of that, the Details button was greyed out and I could not obtain a log report. Tonight I will run Step 06.
  5. AdvancedSetup, Since running TDSSKiller, when I click to go to internet Explorer, I get the following dialog box: Attached are JRT.txt and AdwCleaner.txt Will now run steps 05 & 06 AdwCleaner[S1].txt JRT.txt
  6. Below are the log files created by TDSSKiller. No SKIPs required. TDSSKiller.3.1.0.11_03.11.2016_21.42.43_log.txt
  7. AdvancedSetup, One question after viewing the video. My antivirus, MBAM, etc. are setup to start running once I start up the computer. Although I disable my security applications before starting Kaspersky TDSSKiller, since one of it's initial steps is to reboot my computer, then my security applications may come to life again. Will this case of phoenix rising cause problems with the scan or my computer?
  8. ComboFix ran well, except when it was to reboot the computergot the following error messages: 1) Unable to create a backup of current registry file C:\Windows\System32\config\software 2) Error restoring C:\Windows\erdnt\subs\system to C:\Windows\System32\config\system! [RegReplacesKey 5 - Access is denied] As long as I asked the restoration to continue, these error messages alternated. Once I clicked No for restoration continuance, the program resumed. Don't know if the cause is that on start I must enter a password, and that file may have been blocked to ComboFix. The log file for ComboFix is attached. ComboFix.txt
  9. By signing off on Skype, their dialog box disappeared. I will now run ComboFix.
  10. AdvancedSetup, I have run the threat scan, but as I went to download ComboFix and move it's icon to my desktop, I closed all my windows, except a dialog box for Skype. I tried to click on the red X, but the dialog box remains. Should I run ComboFix with the Skype dialog box on my desktop? Strange part is if I open my browser full screen, the Skype dialog box vanishes. But when I close my browser windows, the Skype dialog box is on the desktop. 11. Per David Lippman, I am attaching FRST.txt and Addition.txt plus two Malicious website blockages under the Skype process and the Foxfire process. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  12. To David H. Lipman, Will do as you suggested. Please mark the post in this subforum as closed. Thanks
  13. As requested by 1PW in Malware Removal for Windows on October 30, I am attaching FRST.txt and Addition.txt to this post. My Premium MalwarBytes has blocked on almost a daily basis Outbound websites which use various ports and either Skype or Firefox as the process. Attached are two of those bockages. My question is can I reduce or eliminate these outbound websites? FRST.txt Addition.txt
  14. My MalwareBytes Premium indicates daily blockages of outgoing malicious IPs using various ports and either Skype or Firefox as the process. Is there a way of eliminating these?
