  1. Ok, rebooted and reran mbam check. Here's the results file ... CheckResults.txt
  2. Kevin, Attached is the mbam check file. There is no 0 folder. David CheckResults.txt
  3. No, same thing. MBAM icon appears in my system tray (with a little exclamation point on it) but then disappears when I hover over it.
  4. Kevin, Rkill seemed to run fine. Here's the log file it created. David Rkill.txt
  5. Kevin, I installed MBAM again (after running the cleaning tool twice) and it will still not open. The installation seemed to go fine, as it has every time I've tried. But, when I try to open it, the MBAM icon appears in the system tray but nothing opens. When I try to click on the icon in the system tray, it disappears as soon as my cursor hovers over it. I have been able to get MBAM to run by using one of the chameleons. MBAM will open directly after that but reverts back to it's non-opening state after I restart. David
  6. Kevin, I ran the mbam clean tool twice and also uninstalled zemana then reinstalled mbam. Unfortunately, I still have the same problem ... mbam will not start. David
  7. Kevin, Here are the scan reports. I don't know if you intended me to run Zeok twice, but I did as you instructed. You will see a file for each of those scans. Zemana did not find anything. Should I try reinstalling MBAM and seeing if it will start? David zoek-results(firstscan).txt zoek-results(secondscan).txt ZemanaScan2016.11.02-16.13.04-i0-t92-d0.txt
  8. Kevin, Here's the survey tab that keeps popping up ... address is http://www.wpvresearchgroup.com/
  9. Kevin, I followed your instructions but MBAM still won't start. The behavior is the same ... the MBAM icon appears in my system tray after attempting to open but when I hover over the icon, it disappears. I was sure to run the clean tool twice, rebooting each time as instructed. I have attached the fixlog.txt file but I should tell you that it's the result of a second run. After the first time I ran it, I noticed that the fixlist.txt file was no longer in the same directory as FRST so I thought maybe I had screwed that up. So, I ran it a second time. After that, I noticed that the fixlist.txt was removed so I'm pretty sure I did it right the first time. Fixlog.txt
  10. I also periodically get a tab that asks me to take a Biddeford Internet Corp survey.
  11. Kevin ... btw, here's a screenshot of the message that came up. David
  12. Kevin, I thought I would notified via email if someone responded to my post. I decided to check on it today and noticed you responded right away. Thanks. I turned on the 'notify me of replies' button this time. Here are the logs. David FRST.txt Addition.txt
