  1. It's been 2 consecutive days that when I turn on the computer, Malwarebytes marks that I've never executed a scan before and the rootkits scan is deactivated, so I have to activate it manually. I scanned the PC and it's clean.
  2. I don't know but so good I kept the setup file in a folder last week, so I installed it again with the Auto-update disabled and now it works fine for me!
  3. Just tried to download the file again from the page and the download failed!! Too weird!!
  4. I rebooted after using mb-clean but it didn't ask me for rebooting. After rebooting I installed the new MB and it's going OK. mb-clean-results.txt
  5. yeah in fact I thought today on installing updates because of that virus. I hope not getting any blue screen later...
  6. I just installed the new version. I used MB-Clean to delete version 3.0.6 and after rebooting, the folder kept a file: mbshlext.dll, it was the same file that gave me an error when I wanted to update from the previous version. The mb-clean results said: Failed to delete directory (145). Will retry later. The program didn't give me any error at the moment. I'm gonna shut down to check if it opens normal again later.
  7. I still didn't uninstall my current version since I'm reading people have some problems with the new version so I'm waiting just in case...
  8. I think the same way, I stopped updating my Win7 years ago. Because of the updating process running, it made my computer so slow that I had to wait 2 hours everyday till I could use it. In the computer shop they told me that it was Windows Update process which made my 2 computers so slow. And the only thing I read was about blue screens and crashes after installing the updates so I deactivated it.
  9. I just got the notification of an update and I clicked on install the update, then an error about a file appeared and I had to cancel the update. Then I read here about blue screens so I'm afraid of installing the new version now. But the notification of updating is nagging again...

  11. OK. That's good then! I have some doubts with my Malwarebytes AdwCleaner because it found 4 registry keys as threats and I don't know if I should press on "clean" since modifying registry can be dangerous.. These are the keys: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{3CCC052E-BDEE-408A-BEA7-90914EF2964B} HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{61F47056-E400-43D3-AF1E-AB7DFFD4C4AD} HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{E2B98EEA-EE55-4E9B-A8C1-6E5288DF785A} HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\ChromeHTML
  12. I just got this message in the other computer
