  1. Many thanks all, Key sent in E-mail and registered OK today, so all working again
  2. Second request to Malwarbytes Support one week later and a new ticket number created . We received your request and created ticket 3257171 for you How many ticket numbers is required before we hit the jackport?
  3. Thanks Porthos, I'll give it a week and get back to them if no reply.
  4. Right, I was able enter the registration, but got a Blacklisted return This had happened before as well, when they had to reset their registration counter
  5. Now back to can't register agian, I emailed support and got a support ticket 3249137 But recomended due to Covd-19 , to try the forum My license was a lifetime license bought many years ago it required entering two lines an ID: and a key: now there is only one line to enter. So find I can't register minder12
  6. Thanks for the advice, has the counter been reset? just tried again and it still wont register. https://www.dropbox.com/s/f5rfoq3o5wx0cqo/reg license.JPG?dl=0
  7. Back to wont register again same as previous thread last year. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/189203-has-hurricane-mathew-effected-response-times/?_fromLogin=1 I had problems recently with malwarebytes as the protection kept switching off and would switch on again, so I tried uninstalling the program and re-installing it again, and now it wont accept the license registration again. I purchased a 'lifetime license' when I bought the software and I thought they had sorted this quirk out previously.
  8. Thanks to Mathew all sorted, the program up running and registered again and showing lifetime license on the gui
  9. @Porthos Yes well I had HitmanPro alert running at that time. I had malwarebytes web protection running previously, but suspended it in favour of Hitmanpro alert as it claimed it was better. lol
  10. @Porthos it wasn't possible, as it had to go into windows recovery and that didn't work so a re-install of Windows was the only solution in fact I have a video of the upset that led up to the crash https://youtu.be/GFtdTx3t4uQ I used HitmanPro to deleted the cookies run a scan and close the browser as the browser wouldn't exit after that I used the Malwarebytes junkware removal tool. that's when the problem started ... I couldn't reload windows. and later I couldn't register Malwarebytes anti-malware.
  11. @KenW I thought that as well when I bought the lifetime license years ago, but my PC has went down many times since then despite Malwarebytes and Anti-virus protections, the hard drive has had to be formated and the programs re-installed, and Malwarbytes worked every time it was re-installed, but last week was different I got the above notice, it would seem that they are determined to get rid of the previous lifetime licenses that were sold by invoking the registration counter for installs as it is not now taking into account lifetime registration but 4 strikes and your out. Still waiting for Phil to get back to me or maybe some new adviser will get elected to see to the ticket.
  12. Additional: I wonder if other members could give their opinions of what they think a 'lifetime license' means?
  13. Thanks Ron , I used another email address for Registration I now have Phil assisting me in this morning's email. It would appear that I have a 'lifetime license unlimited for home use' which now appears to have been regressed to a limit of activation's licence, since yearly subscriptions have been introduced.
