  1. After updates still no install. I tried something different, and that is to reboot into Safe Mode with Networking. I was able to install that way! So something under normal booting seems to have stopped the installation
  2. I did updates yesterday. just checked again and there are more. downloading now will try install again when updates complete
  3. Brand spanking new computer. (UPS delivered it yesterday!) So a clean install.
  4. I am the administrator. Attached are the 3 requested logs FRST.txt Addition.txt CheckResults.txt
  5. I started the install process with the latest installer ( I downloaded it yesterday.) I tried the 1.5x version to see if that worked. Turning off Antivirus didn't help (just tried that) The tmp installer I am talking about is what the program does. What I start is an exe. Attaching the pictures that were in the original word doc. (as jpgs) (Good thinking about not opening word doc! Duh!)
  6. Note, I had an older version (1.51.1) from when I originally purchased the software. So I decided to try that (and let it upgrade) today. The 1.51.1 installs, downloads update. The update hangs (with tmp process Suspending, and the choose Setup Language dialog box open.) Trying to click Ok on the dialog box doesn't do anything
  7. I did that, but it hangs with the tmp version of exe becoming suspended. I renamed the setup program and tried, but the tmp version of renamed install also becomes suspended. New laptop (received yesterday) attaching screen shots in word doc malwarebytes_install_problem.docx
  8. The mbam-setup.2.2.1.1043.tmp program is suspended when I try to install (from the exe) New laptop with Win10 Professional
