Yes I have admin rights. So this is a bit odd! I am wondering if I need to somehow go through Windows Control panel and deal with Malwarebytes ?

I have a licence but when I try to click activate, i get the message "you must have administrative privileges to activate it change your license". I also right clicked on Malwarebytes icon on desktop & chose "run as administrator", but I still got the message :you must have admin privileges to activate! Please advise.
