  1. C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\gameHalo_Release.exe Unable to attach/Zip the file due to permissions, apparently, though all .exe's in this directory for files such as MicrosoftEdge.exe, GameBarElevatedFT_Alias.exe, Skype.exe are all 0 bytes (though that could be misshown due to permissions too.) I can see within the Microsoft Store that changes had been made to Halo Infinite "A few minutes ago", so likely triggered by an update to the game. Halo Infinite.txt
  2. I don't suppose you know the complaints procedure for Malwarebytes? It's to do with my case I opened with Malwarebytes Support - Due to support clearly showing that they didn't review my attachment (video of me attempting to buy MWBAM for Android) or even read my ticket text, I got a completely unrelated response. I would mark my issue as resolved, since it now is, but customers shouldn't have this level of shoddy service and I responded saying that I don't feel like my original issue, or the matierial attached was reviewed properly. If staff see this comment: Ticket 3352101 I said I was unable to buy Malwarebytes on Android, and the agent responded saying I'm not able to use a lifetime license on Android. Since that response on the 29th January, I've had nothing.
  3. Nice one Exile, done this and it worked - I can now purchase Malwarebytes on Android. Thanks!
  4. Hi, Anyone else been having issues purchasing Malwarebytes for Android? For over a week I have received "Something went wrong our end" when trying to purchase it. I reached out to Malwarebytes support, but honestly, in the nicest way possible, their response was so dissatisfactory, it was actually unbelievable. It feels like they didn't even read my issue (or review my attachment) and gave me a canned response for something completely unrelated. Since Malwarebytes is priced differently, I see no point buying Malwarebytes on their website as this is nearly £20 more expensive when I only want it on Android, I don't need it to support other operating systems (while still limited to 1 device...). (£10.99 in-app, £29.99 on website) So buying it online isn't really a workaround. 21-01-23-00-15-18.mp4
  5. Hey, got to have some fun with those techies by posting it! It definitely makes people look twice at it, but yeah you're right underlying HTML code is absolutely not fine. Just in case there's any concern, posting HTML entities doesn't actually work. If you post a soft hyphen, using Alt+0173 your encoding takes care of the rest. 🙂
  6. Hi there, Codepen.io is currently reporting a "Potential threat blocked" on the domain cdpn.io This website is for html, css and js snippets - much like jsfiddle which has no block, can this block be removed as it impacts general usability of the site? Kind regards.
  7. Just realised I accidently uploaded one of the wrong scans, please see attached False Positives Scan 1 - Attempt 2.txt
  8. Hi, Malwarebytes' AI (https://blog.malwarebytes.com/detections/malware-ai/) seems to have pooped the bed and is flagging false positives left, right and center suddenly. Attached are copies of the files and scan logs. False Positives.zip
  9. @rakka I have removed the plugin due to the fact that other users are reporting they have not received this screen after updating, and due to your most recent update which exchanges data with co-operating websites, please expand on this.
  10. I don't want you to use my e-mail address without +Malwarebytes appended to my e-mail address. I guess I'll leave the extension disabled until there's an option to change which address it goes to. "deliver product level communications" - I can't wait for Malwarebyte to market their other products in these e-mails, time to look into their "Opt-in" compliance in terms of GDPR on the Chrome Web Store, whether they actually legally gain consent through the install of the plugin.
  11. To be fair, I actually just want a program which I don't have to completely uninstall, and reinstall after every update - which then has licensing issues and causes havoc. A program where the options within the settings do as they mean. (Yes, this whole turn 2 options off to stop getting update notifications is BS when 1 option is specifically for it.)
  12. I can't think of a single release in the past 2 years where there hasn't been an issue. We just want a program that works. I fully understand why @bru doesn't want to update. I still haven't.
  13. You guys need to work on your wording for things 😕 "Automatically download and install application component updates" "Component" updates should be and are different to program version updates. (I have unfortunately had previous upgrade issues and Malwarebytes malfunctions due to old components, even though I was on the latest version) 1. If this is automatic ("Automatically download and install) why am I getting an update notification? - I shouldn't be, therefore I don't need to disable this option. Install being the key word here. 2. You give me a toggle for "Notify me when full version updates are available" yet it does nothing if option 1 is enabled, so why not grey out this option and not let me toggle it if it is COMPLETELY dependant on option 1? Why is it worded in such a way that it would give the opinion of being able to turn off those notification popups.
  14. If only that were true. Not even joking, 2 years broken.
  15. No, unfortunately not. This keeps coming up right in the middle of games, blocking some very important HUD. I have to disable MWBAM before I play a game. Great Anti-Malware design... Malwarebyte notifications have been broken for 2 years now, Admin's respond with "We know notifications are bad, rather than fix the issues we want to overhaul it so you can target specific notification (YAY BTW)", 2 years later, no overhaul, still broken AF.
  16. Veeam's free windows agent is a solid backup solution too. I used to use Macrium, but now use Veeam.
  17. @bluemonday Not sure if this is the same problem I had, but whenever I attempted to download a file Malwarebytes would block a random website I hadn't navigated to and wasn't downloading from. Turns out Malwarebytes was scanning my entire download history and one item in there was triggering it every time. Again, not sure if this is the same issue I had - but that was the fix for me.
  18. Sorry I forgot to confirm that the "Scan with Malwarebytes" is still not present in my context menu. (Sorry for the double post, I don't appear to be able to edit my previous post.)
  19. Evening @LiquidTension Since completion of your instructions I have since turned off the "Event Log Data". I have attached my support logs and here is a link to my procmon logs (https://we.tl/t-yDwlWqxgBU). I do have feedback on this script - For whatever reason, the script saved the logs in the wrong location, my desktop is not located on my C:\ drive, yet that is where the logs ended up upon completion. The Malwarebytes support tool did save the logs in the correct location so they actually appeared on my desktop - I must say that I changed this around 4 years ago, this is the first time I have ever had something not appear on the desktop when it should have. Kind regards, Nathan mbst-grab-results.zip
  20. Okay, I didn't realise I was able to self register my license even though it wasn't purchased directly through Malwarebytes' website - Now I have set up an activated an account I should hopefully not have a license problem this time around should I use the "Clean" option. For anyone else who might see this post and purchased a license from elsewhere, check out this article: https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2722
  21. Hi Liquid, Thanks for the reply. Those logs were provided before I attempted the "Repair" option within the support tool. If you need me to provide additional logs then please let me know. Kind regards, Nathan
  22. The half baked implemented solution means I cannot exclude games from the Windows Store because I don't have permission to the Windows Apps folder to find the .exe, as Microsoft intend. This is why Malwarebytes needs to look at your installed programs list.
