  1. Hi, Thanks. But when you say, attach that to your reply, what do you mean? I should send YOU that stuff? How? I don't understand 'log'. I did the scan, and afterwards, when it ended, I clicked on 'fix it'. After the scan what am I to do? By the way the 'chinese sh--" is still there and it appears on the apps section- at the end- under 'Other'. It's parked in the apps section of my computer, isn't it? My impression is that it requires a stronger (medicine) malware remover than malwarebytes. Thanks for your patience and generosity in trying to help me.
  2. Hi Kevin Reporting. a) I couldn't follow your instruction on 'edge' just cannot find what you indicate. b) RKill didn't work as you suggested. I downloaded all 4 but no flashing box in any. c) Malwarebytes I scanned and clicked on fix, as I couldn't understand the rest of your instructions. Can it be that you expected me to attach stuff to my reply to you? I can't understand this as it's far too complex for me, an old computer illiterate. Sorry. But thanks! I'm hoping the chinese window won't reappear, as my nerves can't take it. Thanks Kevin!
  3. Kevin, I haven't done it yet. Still, just want to thank you (my silence might be mistaken for ungratitude) for your generosity and time taken to help me. Will let you know as soon as I've finished the task. Thanks sooooooooooo much Kevin!
  4. I once got invaded with a bunch of malwares and using CCleaner cleared them all except ONE. This Chinese one appears on my bottom taskbar every 4 days. I use CCleaner it goes and returns 4 days later, and saga goes on. It does not appear on programs. Only in Apps, listed under Other. Unable to uninstall or delete there. It has a blue round ball with 1.28C on the left and 42C CPU (and 2 chinese characters) A window eventually appears all in Chinese characters. How to get rid of this permanently? I'm computer illiterate and would appreciate your help with removing this annoying (and hopefully not too dangerous) Chinese malware. Thank You!
