Hello..
I'm not sure this qualifies as malware but here is the problem..
I've a new install of windows 7 sp1 and setting my home page to use Google is child's play and that works fine, however in Manage add-ons search providers list no matter how many times I set Google as my default search engine and then Remove/Delete Bing from the search provider listings after some time it comes back and is enabled (my home page won't change mind it remains Google) but it's annoying also I've noticed that the check box for prevent programs from making changes to my home page is now absent.. the only check box I can see is "Search in the address bar and the search box on the new tab page." I'm not sure if this is why I'm getting issues with websites telling me that my browser is not up to date with the latest adobe flash player which it is in fact I've triple checked and removed and reinstalled it Version 22.0.0.210 also at one point I got a windows prompt on the bottom of my screen asking if I wanted IE 11 as my default browser and before I could click yes it disappeared and I got a message saying that windows thought there was some corruption and has reset my default browser. I have since went into default programs tab and set it manually to IE 11.
Please excuse me if this is off topic for this section of the forums and I apologize in advance if that is the case.
Thank You in advance for any insight you might lend.
