  1. Hi treed, My problem's already been solved. I just ran Malwarebytes a few more times and my internet's fine now. Thanks anyways
  2. I posted a topic in the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Help forum because I believed that Malwarebytes had been blocking sites like Steam and imgur because they'd been blocked immediately after I ran it, but it seems that wasn't the case. I ran Malwarebytes once more since the last reply of that post, so the log.txt file has changed. I'm using a Macbook Air running OS X 10.9.5, and my preferred browser is Firefox, though other browsers like Safari can't access Steam and the like either. log.txt
  3. Oh. Well, I'll begin with that later; it's 3 in the morning over here. Thank you.
  4. I can't seem to find those files, and when I click the "Farbar Recovery Scan Tool" hyperlink I get the same "Unable to connect" error. However, I did find a "log.txt" file in a folder called "com.malwarebytes.antimalware" in my Application Support folder. I've attached it in case it might help with anything. log.txt
  5. I'd edit the base topic, but I can't seem to find an edit button, so I'll just have to self-reply I guess. I managed to get Malwarebytes fully uninstalled but I still can't connect to Steam and such. Same error and everything. I'm getting really impatient with this "Unable to connect" crap. It only started after I downloaded Malwarebytes, and now it seems that something else has screwed over my Internet.
  6. I downloaded Malwarebytes to get rid of malware that Avast! couldn't, and now I can't connect to a bunch of different sites, including Steam. Avast! had that problem for me at first as well, but all I had to do for that was disable the Web Shield (which was unnecessary anyways AFAIK). Malwarebytes doesn't have that option, and configuring my Firefox preferences has done nothing to fix the issue. I'd just use MacRemover to completely uninstall Malwarebytes, but Malwarebytes blocks that as well. So here's my question: how can I either completely uninstall Malwarebytes or stop it from blocking sites? By the way, the error is "Unable to connect".
