  1. Yes, as I said at post #4. I don't know why after the KB4056892 for two days Windows Defender was complaining about MB not being active, but since yesterday everything is working.
  2. ok, here the logs. PS: I never had to "exclude" MB files in Avast since 2014 when I installed both programs on my PC, so I didn't change anything this time. After another shutdown -> power on, everything looks still fine. Windows Defender is "all green", MB is "active" and "all green", etc. I don't know why after the KB4056892 for two days Windows Defender was complaining about MB not being active. mb-check-results.zip
  3. @vbarytskyy I've generated the logs but I think there are too many "personal" information in those txt. I don't think that attaching the mb-check-results.zip file in a "public" forum is a "smart" idea.
  4. oookey. I don't know what happened, but after I took those screenshot, I decided to reboot my PC, and now Windows Defender doesn't complain anymore and under Control Panel now MalwarBytes is "Enablad". well... why? LOL!
  5. in Control Panel -> System and Security -> Security and Maintenance everything is "Ok", but when I clink on the link in the red box: a window pops up saying that MalwareBytes is "Disabled" (and all the below buttons are disabled). Prior to the latest Windows Update (http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4056892) I never had this issue (and I never saw that window in the Control Panel).
  6. I'm running W10PRO with latest patches (for Meltdown/Spectre). After the restart, now Windows Defender complains about MalwareBytes and says that it's not running (text is in italian, sorry): but MalwareBytes is running and up-to-date (I hope! no update if I do the "update now" manually): any ideas? I'm also running Avast Premier but didn't found any issue with Windows Defender.
  7. please remove the block for http://forum.tntvillage.scambioetico.org/. I tried to add this url to the exclusion, but it's still blocked. I tried to open the source page and add all the website I've found in the HTML but that site is stil blocked. thanks.
  8. Yesterday I've updated calibre to the latest version (2.57.1) and the antivirus (Avast Internet Security Premier), the anti malware (Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home Premium) and the anti ransomware (Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware) didn't find anything to complain while installing the update. Then I started using calibre and after 20-30 minutes it crashed because Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware put the "calibre.exe" in the quarantine for "generic ransomware". I downloaded again the installer, repaired the installation, the I put the calibre.exe in the exclusion's list. Today, again after 20-30 minutes of calibre doing its work, Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware put "calibre-parallel.exe" in the quarantine... I've attached the logs, the C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes folder, the two exe quarantined. You should add an option to exclude a folder, not only a single file. in the calibre folder there are a lot of exe... I don't want to manually exclude all of them because suddenly Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware decided that these files are infected (and this is not true). And you should add an option to restore a file from quarantine: if I try, the application says that it's impossible because the file was marked for deletion after reboot. Thanks. logs.zip Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip calibre.zip calibre-parallel.zip
