Hi, V1.01 Anti-Malware when I right click on the icon in the Vista sys tray and select either Start Scanner or check for updates, I get a lot of pop-ups, each has a different line number and at the end of line 2 what I think may be malware entries that it looks for.. ------------------------------------------ Unexpanded Variable found on line # -- %QUICKLAUNCH%\ then the names. -------------------------------------------------- Is it me (my setup - Vista) or the program.

Is activation used when a person buys Malwarebytes Anti Malware, that is, is the buyer allowed only so many activations, e.g. 5, then when he has used those 5 he must ask for more, as Microsoft does. Can you let me know please. I tend to change hardware and there are times when if I run into a problem, of course, depending on the problem, I re-install windows rather than spend a lot of time trying to fix it. After all, I pay for the program. thanks, & the program looks to be a very good one.

I totally agree with the update option suggestion. Regarding password protection, I'm not for that unless it is optional, that is, I don't want to password protect MBAM though other users will want to do so.
