  1. I have delayed this temporarily because my refrigerator, full of food, stopped cooling. It is an intensive job to recover from that.
  2. I uninstalled a number of programs I don't use. Also: = keep == I think it is intended by DELL to always be running to optimize resources. HKLM\...\Run: [DellPoaEvents] => C:\Program Files\Dell\PPO\DellPoaEvents\DellPoaEvents.exe [21496 2013-02-08] (Dell Inc. -> Microsoft) = Remove == I don't use roxio. HKLM-x32\...\Run: [RoxWatchTray] => C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\OEM\12.0\SharedCOM\RoxWatchTray12OEM.exe [240112 2010-11-25] (Sonic Solutions -> Sonic Solutions) = remove == HKLM-x32\...\Run: [Desktop Disc Tool] => C:\Program Files (x
  3. I think some of those I will want to keep and update. I will investigate and check back.
  4. I deleted one of the duplicate audio drivers with the delete key. Then restarted the PC. Now I can correctly switch between headphones, the USB Poly P3200, and the sound from the Viewsonic monitor. I did this through the Zoom client. Is there a setting to make that choice or default when I am not using zoom? For example, using Youtube. Here are the new logs: Addition.txt FRST.txt

Video driver - tried to update but PC is not capable. Updated Audio driver - Realte
  7. This is going to take me a while. I have appointments, plus I am having problems knowing what some of the installations are for. I have 12 copies of Microsoft Visual C ++ x64 & x86 Redistributable installed. I don't use that program directly, but I don't know if it is used by another Microsoft program or app. They look like upgrades for which the older programs are not removed. How should I handle that?
  8. No threats detected by Malwarebytes or Kaspersky. Updated System Bios and Serial-ATA_Driver. FRST.txtAddition.txt
  9. I will do the scans next, then I will check for Dell Driver updates and check back.
  10. I would like to look at cleaning up in general. I have updating things since my first IBM PC in 1980. I'm sure it is a mess.
  11. Uninstalled them. I think they were from long ago trying to print from cell phone.
  12. I use these two batch files to choose how I connect to my Netgear R7000 router. WIFI.BAT wmic path win32_networkadapter where index=3 call disable wmic path win32_networkadapter where index=15 call enable netsh wlan connect YourNetworkProfileName msg.exe * /time:30 Ethernet disconnected. 13. I disabled Kaspersky protection, Installed Malwarebytes (+ Browsergard), activated my Malwarebytes license. It is running. OpenOffice now starts. Firefox starts ok now. Computer seems to be running normally.
