  1. Mountaintree16, thanks for the link. Looks like Malwarebytes' position is pretty clear, and my issue is not virgininal.
  2. I asked you which ones on edavislaw.net - not for a generic response. There aren't that many on that parked page. You throw the baby out with the bath water with such generic verbiage. I paid for the full version of your software not realizing what little help would be given re false positives, and how many innocent web sites your organization would damage by complete disregard of fairness. Truly you're not showing your organization in any better light than your assessment of GoDaddy.
  3. OK, MysteryFCM, which links at edavislaw.net are you asserting aren't filtered and/or are malicious? Mountaintree16, sorry, I didn't mean to direct the prior to you, got distracted before continuing post and lost my place.
  4. MysteryFCM: I'm sure registrars such as GoDaddy (the one with the ip at issue) would certainly be interested in such statement by you! It is NOT moot that you are blocking a major registrar's parking server! I'll quote you to them. Perhaps they will convince you directly it's not moot.
  5. @mountaintree16, actually the links are specialized to legal/law related and are not malicious - it's Malwarebytes' database blocking the domain NOT by domain name but by using the ip - which negatively impacts a lot of innocent web sites. When MysteryFCM says it's not by ip, I don't understand since each time it blocks and you get the alert, it plainly lists the ip as malicious - not the domain name.
  6. It's only parked until it's web design is complete, and having no access to the edavislaw.net site because it's being blocked as a malicious ip site when it's not is disturbing. Parked means the domain resolves to the registrar's server parking ip for a domain (a temporary hold page is displayed using the edavislaw.net domain name address).
  7. Sorry, the website IS a .net: edavislaw.net
  8. WHAAAAT??????? INTERNIC.NET REPORTS: http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whois?whoi...amp;type=domain Domain Name: EDAVISLAW.NET Registrar: WILD WEST DOMAINS, INC. Whois Server: whois.wildwestdomains.com Referral URL: http://www.wildwestdomains.com Name Server: NS25.DOMAINCONTROL.COM Name Server: NS26.DOMAINCONTROL.COM Status: clientDeleteProhibited Status: clientRenewProhibited Status: clientTransferProhibited Status: clientUpdateProhibited Updated Date: 19-aug-2009 Creation Date: 19-aug-2009 Expiration Date: 19-aug-2014
  9. Not a dns cache issue for sure. Other sites including various WHOIS databases are reporting accurately. Here's a ip/domain checking site I use frequently: http://centralops.net/co/DomainDossier.aspx
  10. To mountaintree16: Forgot to respond to this - Yes, with only one tab open re 68.178.232.99.
  11. To: mountaintree16 - neither do I at this point, but it doeas relate to the database erroneously blocking an entire range of ip's and domains of a major registrar.
  12. Not sure what you mean. Going to edavislaw.com, Malwarebytes pops up ip block for malicious ip. Domain and ip resolving fine for me, the registrar and a consultant, so no idea why it wouldn't resolve for you. What does the link site tell us pertaining to subject ip and/or domain?
  13. To mountaintree16: I don't think so, but not sure now as I've been on long call with registrar re false positive, emails to them and others, including Malwarebytes' support, and my itty bitty brain is fuzzy now on the sequence experienced. To MysteryFCM: ip was listed in my 1st post: 68.178.232.99. Domain is edavislaw.com, currently parked domain at registrar services server: secureserver.net.
  14. No, I didn't click on it. I originally was getting the ip block on the other ip which I know for certain isn't malicious and as part of my investgative process decided to do a general search on Malwarebytes. As you may be able to see from the screenshot (which the forum script made smaller in dimension), the first link Google lists at the top of sponsored links is the one you've indicated isn't Malwarebytes.
