I ran a Farbar recovery scan tool, does anyone know if I could now just click "fix" in that same tool and it will remove anything infected?

Hi, Earlier today my computer would not connect to the internet, it's on wireless router, but 7 other computers here connected with no problem. I think I have a virus. I ran Malwarebytes anti-malware and Microsoft Sec. Essentials, but found no threats. The computer is still slow, flickers, and sometimes has a delay in typing. Programs are not responding and shutting down without being overwhelmed. I tried to follow some of the other threads, but did not help. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Running Windows 7 Home Premium.
