Hi, last Monday there was a pop-up that MBARW detected ransomware and moved it into Quarantine, but the name of the process and the Quarantine was empty. I scanned the system with Avira Pro and double-checked yesterday with MBAM and Hitman Pro - without results (haven't used the system between Monday and Saturday). After a restart today at 17:10 MBARW detected ngen.exe and quarantized it, but Quarantine is empty at all. Is there a real threat or just an false positive? Thanks MBAMSERVICE.zip

Hello 1PW, Thank you for your quick reply. I had to re-install MBARW three times but now it looks like this solved the problem. Actually MBARW is working, even after I booted Windows twice. Thanks again for your support

Hi, Since yesterday I can't start Anti-Ransomware anymore, clicking "Start Protection" or "Fix now" there is no reaction. Reinstalling and deleting the remaining folder for four times doesn't help. I fear there is a context to the yesterday's update of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home (free) 2.2.1.1043, which I use as a second opinion scanner (on a Windows 10 64-bit system). Here are the zips (logs2 is before the last reinstall), my folder C:\ProgrammData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti Ransomware is empty, so I couldn't create an archive.
