  1. Hello, I did a further clean install and restarted the program. Protection was again disabled. I clicked on the program icon in the icon tray to "start protection" and it worked! Don't know why, but perhaps a program restart was what is needed. Good luck to others.
  2. Hello, Same problem here. MBARW was running fine up to yesterday. Now real time protection is "disabled." Neither "fix now" nor "start protection" work. Did do a clean install but no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you.
  3. After I boot into Windows 7 Pro on my ThinkPad, and the desktop is created, the program automatically opens and pins itself to the taskbar. Is this a bug or a design feature of the beta to facilitate the reporting of feedback? Should the program remain open and pinned to the taskbar until I log off or should I close it?
  4. I do not know if this issue is related to Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta, but since I installed the program (about a week ago) when I try to log in into Windows, it logs me into a "temporary profile" because it cannot find the local profile. One of the causes of this event is that the antivirus (perhaps including the anti-ransomeware beta) program might be scanning the computer while I am trying to log on. If this happens, Windows might not read the user profile correctly and thus creates a temporary profile. Could the Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta be the culprit? Perri_6
