  1. The new IPS Community Suite supports web browser Notifications. This is simply giving you the option to enable them. This is expected behavior for any web site that supports web browser notifications. So select the experience you want and you should be golden.
  2. Do you have a speciifc example of this? I just want to make sure we are on the same page.
  3. Thanks for posting this. It may be a server delay issue, but it's still something we want to share with IPS. EDIT: No joke, the "double post/content" issue just happened to me right now when posting this.
  4. I moved the thread and fixed the permissions problem on that section. Thanks for reporting this.
  5. Thanks!! These appear to be external links and should work unless said external site (our site in this case ) has moved that content. The PDF one points to an old URL and should be updated to https://www.malwarebytes.org/pdf/guides/MalwarebytesAntiMalwareUserGuide.pdf. Does that seem correct? The KB one seems to work for me. It loads up the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Support Articles section. Should it be something else? Thanks for posting this. We will need to look in to this with IPS. For the meantime, the following will work: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/search/?&type=core_members&joinedDate=any&group[9]=1 Thanks for pointing this one out too. We will work with IPS to see what's up here.
  6. I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying. I was not saying the editor doesn't have issues nor that being able to Edit a post is the complete solve for this. I was attempting to point out that the issues with the limited and sometimes broken BBCode support and the inability to preview a BBCode based post are the same thing. In cases were one is just using the toolbar and the realtime preview, things fair better and you technically have a "post preview" like experience. Again, that doesn't help in the cases where BBCode is being used, since you really do need to know what that will look like before posting and today we do not have that option. We understand that isn't a good experience for a lot of users and the only option we had was to open up the option to Edit your post until we can get improvements made to the editor. I nor the rest of the forums team feel like that was the best solution, but it was the only option we had that helped out, even if just a little bit. I hope everyone knows that we hear everything you are saying and are actively working on solutions to all of this. Please continue to hang tight with us during this difficult situation.
  7. Just to clarify, the not having "Post Preview" is only currently an issue if you are attempting to post using just BBCode. If you are copying rich content or using the toolbar buttons to create your post content, then you will see that the editor provides a realtime look of the final content. To help users that post exclusively with BBCode, we enabled the ability to edit your post. Not ideal, but it was the only option available.
  8. It's actually there. At the end it says by whom and when the last post was created. Click the timestamp under the username and it takes you right to the last post.
  9. Thanks for sharing this. Can you share the specific issues you're experiencing? Include the actual BBCode too please. We are working with IPS to fix any issues the occur with the basic BBCode capabilities of the WYSIWYG Editor. So knowing exactly what is not working will help us ensure we are reporting all of the issues.
  10. Thanks for the very passionate and detailed feedback as always. As you know, we want to make sure the forums are functional and meeting the needs of all it's users. We are working on getting any and all issues resolved as quickly as possible. So please hang tight during this transition. I know it's very frustrating, just remember that everything will not be perfect overnight. Again, thank you for keeping the feedback coming.
  11. Thanks for sharing this feedback. We will look in to our options.
  12. Thanks for sharing this. I will make sure it gets reported to IPS.
  13. If you are willing to do that, I would greatly appreciate it. I have one that I am cooking up, but a user created one is always a great back up plan.
  14. Thanks for posting this. Can I get a copy of the raw BBCode you used?
  15. I see what you are saying about it not utilizing the screen real estate. I'm not sure if this is adjustable or not, but it is something we can discuss with IPS. Appreciate the feedback on this. Can you double check that? I created a Test folder and was able to move PMs there and they did not show up in the default inbox folder. Did I perhaps misunderstand this piece of your feedback? The list of messages in a current folder shows you only a small preview of the message. Specifically, it shows the avatar of the author, title of the message, short preview of the first sentence, and a preview of who the message was sent to. This view almost mimics the default view of Outlook (Desktop App, Office 365 Web App) and the Mail App in Windows 10. Granted it doesn't match the default view of Gmail, but it does align with some very common email clients from what I can see. That may be the default experience in Google Mail and some other email clients, but at the same time it is not the case for very popular ones like Outlook and Mail and a lot of other web clients too. This is usually a customized option/setting in most email clients I have worked with. No matter what, thank you for the experience feedback. You bring up a great set of points here that has been said a few times about unused real estate. It's something we are looking in to. We don't have all the answers just yet, so hang tight.
  16. Thanks for your feedback!! That appears to be the default structure of the Messages area of iPS v4 and is structured like an email client. The list you are seeing is actually your Inbox folder and any messages inside of it. I don't think this is something that can be changed, but we can certainly discuss it if there is an overall need to change it. Do other users dislike an email client-like layout?
  17. Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Edit: Wow that added a bunch of extra "Test" items.
  18. It's likely the "color" BBCode throwing things off. I will verify later today. Technically speaking, you shouldn't need to specify a URL as blue since that is the default color. So to be frank, one could say the unneeded code is part of the problem. Just food for thought.
  19. I set up a second topic for you to test: If this one works too, then I would consider this an isolated quirk.
  20. Which is why I created a post specifically so you could be the first poster:
  21. I attempted to recreate your issue but did not experience problems with copy/paste. See here: I also set up a topic for you to test with too:
  22. I don't have a BSOD issue, just testing the copy/paste functionality reported by a user.
