I have tried to uninstall PDFCreator 1.7.2 in Control Panel/Programs and Features, and I have the same problem. Probably both software packages use a common Windows Installer which causes the problem.

I have tried to install Git for Windows Git-2.7.1.2-64-bit.exe, and during install ARB warned about a threat and moved the file C:\Users\<myuser>\AppData\Local\_iu14D2N.tmp into quarantine. The window of the installer was frozen afterwards. I checked the SHA256 sum of the installer, and it was the same as mentioned on a web page. Maybe indeed there is a problem with Git for Windows, so I will wait for an answer here before trying it with ARB disabled. Logs are appended. _iu14D2N.zip Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip logs.zip
