New version installed today and haven't had web protection issue yet.  Fingers crossed

Seems to be related a bit to the Update process when it runs to process new updates.  I had this issue today after a long time of it running well with CU3 update.  Just quit and restart service works for now.

I actually had the issue with Web Protection today I believe after an hourly update cause I got the protection popup.  I then used the Quit Malwarebytes and started the service again to fix it which worked fine.  There are still some weird things but it could be the Win10 build I am on - 15031.

Have the Web Protection issue this morning.  Stuck in Starting state on Windows 10 15031 build.  Worked fine yesterday.  Using the Quit option then start service again to fix.

Getting Qt5Core.dll issue with Access Denied when installing latest beta.  Guess it is uninstall and reinstall time.

Just FYI but there is a newer version 3.0.6 available directly from the website.  Much improved over this version.

Be sure to add the mutual exclusions to each program as that could be the issue. Also be sure to install latest release 3.0.6.

That is unusual as it upgraded fine for me coming from 3.0.6.1458 to the new release.

All seems good on build 15014 and using MBAM 3.0.6. Even tray icon issues are fixed. Great job fixing issues even the warning on first boot or reboot.

I had to remove MBAM today as it was causing issues in Outlook 2016 making the Office Installer pop up all the time and not letting a Repair run properly of Office 2016.  After removing and rebooting everything worked fine and I have enabled Windows Defender for now until the issues within MBAM are addressed fully and a new patch comes out.

Try adding this directory for Exclusion then and see - C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

This is the Edge program folder.  I did that before 15002/15007 and it seemed to allow all components to be enabled.  Then 15002 changed to work for me and same with 15007.

I have Edge working in 15007 fine and with all options in MBAM turned on and no exclusions.  Try looking at the notes for the 15007 build as it references deleting a folder within this directory - C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Spectrum.

I had issues with Edge until I removed that subfolder then it seemed to work good again.  Even the Settings option was crashing Edge.  Not sure what this folder is for but it is in the Known Issues list for 15007.

Hopefully this helps otherwise turn off the Anti-Exploit within MBAM and download the standalone latest Beta release.

Did you try the usual reboot the computer option?  Also if still and issue try doing a clean uninstall, reboot then reinstall it.   I can run it fine on Win 10 Insider 15002.

I have contacted support to reset it but wanted to ask how long it takes usually as I need to get premium going again. My laptop crashed so I reinstalled the software.

I can report the same for build 15002 that Edge works fine now on x64 with 3.0.5.

There is a rootkit option in the Settings for when you scan your PC and it will remove them from what I have seen.

Yeah I have tried to toggle it on/off but nothing even when KeePass is closed or open.

I can open both programs no issue there. Just can't toggle on KeePass now that it is in the list that's all.

Mbam crashed while adding KeePass though but is good now.
