I would prefer not to post the logs on a public forum, do you have somewhere I can upload them? I do not get an error, just prompts me with a save as dialogue and loops until I cancel. I do get an error if I try to edit the meta data in window's Explorer. I can post that tonight.

Same thing happened to me, with Office 2010 files and a few other formats. It seems that anything that uses tags or metadata. *.rtf, *.txt are all okay. Tried editing a *.jpg and ran into the same issue. I turned off protection and everything goes back to normal.
