  1. By the way, @Buddel, what security suite do you use? Just wondering, thats all.
  2. I have tried it & I do not like it. Does anyone know of a good free antivirus that has a high detection rate. I will not take any suggestions saying anything about COMODO because I will not use any of their products.
  3. ^ Fogot to add that sometimes after closing my Laptop's lid I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to make the screen appear. If I don't do that all I get is a black screen with a mouse pointer.
  4. Every now and again, the start menu will randomly open. This is extremely annoying. It started a few hours ago. MBAM/ESET/MBAE/MBARW isn't blocking anything. Nothing is detected, but the start menu is randomly opening.
  5. OK. Thanks for your help. I will try it.
  6. I am thinking about getting Qihoo 360 Total Security Essential [sic]. But, because it is chinese, I am a bit weary about it. I would like to know wether you can trust it or not. I do not want people saying that you can't trust it because it is chinese or that you can because you talked to a Qihoo employee.
  7. If I have posted this in the wrong section, feel free to move it. I have seen on some profiles that they have Location & Other stuff. I do not know how to add this stuff. When I click "edit profile," I can only change my e-mail address & password. That's it. Does anyone know how to change this information?
  8. I have followed the instructions that you provided and attached the files asked for in the instructions. The zip contain the executable program (DiskCleaner.zip), the Anti-Ransomware folder (Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip) & the MBAMService logs (logs.zip). DiskCleaner.zip Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip logs.zip
  9. It seems that when using multiple mini-programs in Glary Utilities 5, MBARW is flagging them as ransomware and/or rootkits. The programs so far are DiskCleaner.exe & fileencrypt.exe. These program are designed for cleaning your disk (DiskCleaner.exe) & Encrypting confidential information. (fileencrypt.exe). These files are not malicious in any way, shape or form. Here are are the virustotal reports: DiskCleaner.exe - https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/7c3adba19684b870aeb87afe446c351ff395d27a9c5a9628ed29d4ef917111e4/analysis/1454143679/ fileencrypt.exe - https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/4adabcd2850f36e26e341f7c413bb65d02a1fcb0527feda643e2d243f5c0b618/analysis/1454143676/.
