  1. Just thought I'd let Malwarebytes know my upgrade went without a single hitch. Upgrade: Anti-Ransomeware (BETA) 0.9.18.797-1.1.86 I am running Windows 10 Home on: ASUS Maximus VI Extreme MB: Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz: 32GB RAM 512GB SSD-HDU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX770 GPU
  2. FIXED!!! Followed your instructions exactly and ..... TADA!! that fixed it! Thanx for everything!
  3. 1PW, Thanks so much for the quick response. Attached are the two zip files you requested. Wyzard49 ps: Thanks for all the great work you guys are doing. Anti-Ransomware-DIR.zip MBAMSERVICE-LOG.zip
  4. Initially I installed 0.9.16.484 without uninstalling the previous version. "Start Protection" and "Fix This" did not work. One of the posts suggested a clean install, so I uninstalled and re-installed but it is still Disabled. Another post suggested exiting MBARW and restarting... still Disabled. I am using Windows 10 Home edition
  5. Forgive me, I noticed that I had failed to list running Windows 7 Home Premium when I posted system specs... my bad. I returned here today because I am one of the people who got snookered by Microsoft when they changed the nature of the "Do you want to upgrade to windows 10" and made it say "You will be upgraded to windows 10 on DATE" to which I simply hit the red X in the upper right, not realizing that I'd just agreed to the upgrade. In any case the unplanned upgrade went fine and I am having ZERO problems with the anti-ransomeware and windows 10. Thanx again Mal

  7. I too am running without any issues. My main AV is AVAST. I am a die-hard Windows 7 user. Initially had some problems, which were professionally addressed by the developers and things have been smooth sailing for last 3 releases.
  8. Additional requested files Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip logs.zip
  9. Will do. Unfortunately I can't provide the additional info until late Tuesday. I am headed out to work right now, but will do as soon as possible Thanks
  10. This morning I received an update notice, while running the currently installed CHIRP which is an open-source tool used to program Amateur radios. Within the pop-up notice was a link to update: http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Home The downloader flagged the download as potential threat because it was a .exe ( dot exe ) file. I scanned the exe download file with AVAST and No Threats were found. The download was for the Window's OS. When I attempted to run file chirp-daily-20160215-installer.exe, it was flagged as Ransomware and quarantined. The quarantine lists it as Malwar
  11. I usually run scans separately. My concern has more to do with the active monitoring that these programs are doing. My system is as follows: ASUS Maximus VI EXTREME LGA 1150 Intel Z87 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard Intel Core i7-4790K Quad-Core 4.0 GHz CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 32GB DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (PC3 12800) Memory Corsair Hydro Series™ H100i GTX Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm Corsair 80PLUS Gold-Certified RM Series 850 Watt ATX Power Supply NZXT Phantom Exclusive Black Finish w/Orange Trim Full Tower Case Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium ( One of the Windows 10 hold out
