  1. Hello, What functionality is removed/disabled when licensing expires for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware & Anti-Exploit with the Management Console? Sometimes our procurement department takes some time to process quotes/renewals and I'm curious what is or isn't capable if we run over the expiration date. Thanks in advance for any help! -TraptPatriot
  2. Just a quick update to let people know that the below syntax works for different database information. I am not sure why the port information is not in the admin guide or could be described easily. I may have the \ incorrect, I don't normally use different instances. It could also be / systemname,port\instance - test.domain.com,1234\sql2
  3. Correct, but how do I change it for the Malwarebytes side? We are using a custom port on the SQL server, is it as simple as server,port\instance or something else? Thanks!
  4. Apologies, I was referring to the database that is stored on another server, specifically a Micrsoft SQL Server. Is it possible to change the port for that in the management console? Thanks!
  5. Hi everyone, I searched the forums and the admin guide but did not find anything specific for this question. Is it possible to change the external database port for Malwarebytes Management Console? Is it as simple as servername,port\instance? Thanks in advance for your assistance! -TraptPatriot
  6. Hi everyone, In the MMC policy editor, we can specify the signature update settings for clients. Which options should I select for downloading from the server first, but if not available then to download from the internet? Side questions - if I set to download from the internet will it pull it directly from Malwarebytes and how often does the client check for updates (server or internet)? Thanks in advance! -Dan V.
  7. Hi @djacobson, thanks for the response! I just want to confirm that if I remove the AD OU group, it will not remove the clients. I am only asking because when I right-click and select remove, it states "Are you sure you want to permanently remove this group? All clients under this group will be removed too." Any clarification on what happens would be great! Thanks again!
  8. Hi everyone, In MMC, is it possible to move workstations from an Active Directory synced group/folder to a locally created group/folder? Example, I add an AD OU as a MMC folder called Workstations. The workstations with and without the client sync to the folder. Currently, I am unable to find a way to move a workstation with the client to another folder, one that I created within MMC. My reasoning for asking this is because I would like to remove the AD OU synced folder and only use locally created folders. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
