Well I just followed the steps and downloaded FRST and then saved and ran it. And then I ran MB Check and saved it as well. But still nothing. What in god's green earth am I doing wrong here?

Hello. It's been a couple of years since I been on here. So here it goes... As of these past couple of days my Web Protection isn't working and it just says it's "starting" Also my Malware Protection (prevents malware of infections) just turns itself off. I press ON, but then it automatically turns off. So I really need help here. In other words someone needs to walk me through these steps. I forgot to mention that I uninstalled my Malwarebytes and reinstalled it but that doesn't seem to work also. Thanks.

Let me just say Thank You. And yes it did work. I used step 1 and it did the trick. However there's one part I did not do which is this "Now setup any file exclusions as may be required for your Anti-Virus/Internet Security/ Firewall applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQS here or ask and we'll explain how to do it." Now do I need to do this as well?

Hello there. Just as of yesterday my Anti-Malware Bytes won't scan. And it also says my system is not protected. I never had this problem before, and I don't know what to do. Usually the message that pops up when I hit scan is "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has stopped working. A problem caused the problem to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." So any ideas?
