  1. I know you can use: iptest.malwarebytes.org to test the web protection is working fine. Apart from that, I am not sure.
  2. Hi there, I noticed when I opened Malwarebytes that I had website blocked real time shield block, scanned and no infected files (checked with Malwarebytes and my AV) I know this was 9 days ago but only just realised. It could be an IP address on the list that was previously a known malicious site. I just wanted to say this is most likely a false positive or old IP. Steam is obviously a safe application and it only appeared once on the date in the detail below. -Log Details- Protection Event Date: 1/11/17 Protection Event Time: 10:14 PM -Website Data- Domain: IP Address: 115.166.131.130 Port: [62822] Type: Outbound File: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe
  3. I apologize, I won't post about particular AV's again. I guess he should look up reviews and the link you provided of the best AV's.
  4. For purely blocking notifications and not protection for a single program?
  5. The main idea was to target the notification and adding the process or program to the exclusions list. It's a suggestion that I'd like to see in future builds, even if it's paid versions only. I mean, I'd definitely benefit from such features. My logic would be, if MBAM misses a piece of Malware, then it will not tell you anyway and if it blocks it and you don't really need to know or simply don't care, then it would be a good idea to have a feature that gives this possibility.
  6. I personally use a combination of Avast and MBAM Premium. You wouldn't need to buy either products for good protection but in order to get both pro packages would be absolutely recommended if you are rather serious about protection and don't mind spending money. You can get Malwarebytes for £19.95 and I got Avast for cheap. There are third-party sellers that do it really cheap, like £1.50 or near that figure. I'd suggest paying via PayPal for maximum security on purchases and I recommend using highly rated sellers. The best anti-virus at the end of the day, is you. So if you feel that you are aware enough and don't require paid products, then don't, but I love the programs I use and they are super.
  7. I don't think that Windows 10 is bad. It's not much different from 7 and it is far more user friendly than 8/8.1. I do gaming and noticed a performance boost.
  8. Hi Dale, thanks for the fast response. My post was more aimed at people who don't want to see notification in Skype but want to see them in Chrome for example.
  9. I was using Skype and even so often I'll get a notification from MBAM that an IP was blocked. I did my research on this and I found out it is because Skype is P2P. These IP address are known for malicious purpose in the past or currently from what I gather. I don't want to disable notifications in general and I have looked at there is no feature that stop notifications in chosen apps/not show notifications. I'd like to suggest, if it hasn't already that there could be a feature for this? Thanks, Lewis
