  1. Unfortunately, now I can only get to the blue troubleshoot screen. I can go to the next screen, "Advanced options" and select the command prompt if that helps.
  2. My Dell laptop is suddenly crashing. At first my screen froze and wouldn't turn off. Then it would restart about every 30 seconds. I can get into safe mode.
  3. Hi Kevin, Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I did the Sophos virus scan overnight and am happy to report there was no virus detected. I'm attributing the cause of the recent slowdown to boot up to having an older computer that needs to be updated. I have ordered a new pc with ssd memory that I expect will work faster.   4. My computer wouldn't boot up and was giving me a black screen with the mouse arrow. After a few restarts it came up. I have run Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, and FRST. The three files are attached. Thanks for your help, Lu Shortcut.txtFRST.txtAddition.txt

  10. I wasn't sure of how to run the microsoft firewall file as an administrator. I did run it and this is what I got.
