    The virus(es) on the PC have prevented launching internet explorer or firefox. So I downloaded Malwarebytes onto a CDROM and tried to setup and install on the PC. I unchecked "Update" during installation so that the error wouldn't pop up after installation. But when the program begins its scan, it stops after "1 second". Is there anyway of using it without internet connection? What is preventing it from scanning? I appreciate any advice. Thanks so much!
