  1. Just had another crash. I made it all day yesterday without any then had 2 at the end of the day. Please find the attached speccy file with serial number removed. Thanks for your continued help! DESKTOP-L5U74P7.txt
  2. Well this is getting weirder. I uninstalled. I restarted. Upon restart It did not prompt to reload any drivers. I went to the Device Manager to look at the Display Adapters and all of a sudden there was an Nvidia Graphics Card listed below it. I ran updates for both of them. Both said they were up to date. I then downloaded Nvidia Experience to see if it could find any more recent drivers. When it went to run the app it said there was no card for the drivers. I went back the Device Manager and only the Intel(R) HD 520 was listed. Nvidia card was gone. So I did the whole uninstall process again. This time upon reboot I immediately ran Nvidia Experience. This time it identified the card, however when I went to look for drivers it "disappeared." All that said, I wanted to share this nonsense. I feel like I've taken up way more of your time than my donation is worth so if you want to close this ticket I'm thankful for your help!
  3. Yep. Do I check the box to " delete the driver software for this device " ? Thanks!
  4. Do I check "delete the driver software for this device" when I uninstall?
  5. hahaha the comedy of errors continues. After trying install I got:
  6. I'm on a Microsoft Surfacebook. It's very small, moreover I didn't upgrade to add the geforce graphics card. I tried to download the Geforce Experience application as I thought it would help me find the appropriate driver but it wouldn't run. I've attached a screenshot of the alert it gave me.
  7. OK. Well I'll just have to deal! Thanks for your time and your help! It's been most informative.

  9. In the device manager it says "Intel(R) HD Graphics 520" ... but when I go to update the driver it says that everything is up to date.
  10. That is strange as I have no nvidia graphics card on this computer ... do you know why that driver would be causing a crash? Glad to hear I don't have any viruses. Thanks for all the help!
  11. Thanks for the quick response. 12. Hello Kevin, Thanks for the quick response! Please find the files attached below. Thanks, Keith Rkill.txt FRST.txt Desktop.txt Addition.txt
  13. Hello, I've run an up to date malwarebytes scan and its removed some virus but my computer keeps crashing. I believe my computer to be infected. I've removed any torrent websites from my computer. Might someone help me to run a deeper scrub? Thanks, Keith
  14. Well I can run malwarebytes and surf the web again so I'd consider that a great success. As for the rest I'm unsure if there is still malware? Did that program we just ran take care of that? Many thanks! A life without the internet is toooooo hard!
  15. Hello TwinHeadedEagle! Many many many thanks for the assistance. Please find the zoek-results file. I await your erudite guidance! zoek-results.txt
  16. Hello! In order to expedite the process I'm going to link to my initial post where I received amazing attention, and 2 solid points in this direction ... https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/175169-when-running-malwarebytes-i-cannot-connect-to-the-internet/ Re forum post above: I've deleted all of my p2p software. Updated Bigfoot Killer software. Uninstalled AVG. Please find the newest logs. Many thanks in advance for your time and consideration! Addition.txt CheckResults.txt FRST.txt
  17. Deities indeed! Y'all are simply terrific. I cannot thank you enough. I added AVG this past week after a recommendation from a friend. He claimed AVG was terrific. Not knowing what I was doing I naturally took that as a sign that I should get it too! I just deleted it. So in line with still not knowing ... should I keep Microsoft Security Essentials and Malware Bytes? Is that a stalwart combination? Also - I updated the Killer Network Drivers. At least I've taken a long step out of 2011 there! Again - thanks for the terrific advice. I'm going to waltz over to the malware removal section to get some more expert guidance! I'll run new logs but I'll link here to expedite the process and show them you two marvelous humans have already gotten me on the better track! All the best!
  18. I read further into the forums and I came across content regarding p2p software. I uninstalled my p2p software and reset my computer. I reran the programs. The "new" logs are attached below. I'm unsure if this does anything but I didn't want to waste your time. CheckResults.txtFRST.txt
  19. Hello! Many thanks and I appreciate the alacrity in your response. Always a pleasure to commune with a deity of any sort! Apologies for my lack of specificity. I was attempting to state that I'd run malwarebytes, that it had identified some infected files, that I'd quarantined said files and that my computer continued to have problems. I believe I need to go in and do a deeper scrub as per your initial nstructions. That said, please find the log files attached. Again - many many thanks for your assistance! CheckResults.txtFRST.txtAddition.txt
  20. When I attempt to browse the internet utilizing Chrome (or IE) and go to websites like bankofamerica.com ... I get the following message. This webpage is not available ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED I either receive the above message, another error message I cannot reproduce, or the internet connection goes REALLY slow. I discovered that everything works great again when I exit Malwarebytes. I've run diagnostics, quarantined and clean. Struck out. Any advice?
