  1. The error message is gone and Malwarebytes was installed successfully. I started a scan right away, it's scanning now. That's what I came here for, but I'll let you know if I notice any other related issues I guess. Thanks, you're like Batman.
  2. During this process Windows Defender notified me that it was "taking action" against malicious software. Just thought I'd mention that. Fixlog.txt
  3. I can't install malwarebytes due to the above error. Dnsapl.dll is missing rendering IPv6 unable to connect. Is this required for installation? Have a nasty virus on my Sony viao laptop. Any assistance installing malwarebytes of any kind would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I'm screwed without help at this point.
