  1. Logs attached, as requested. mbst-grab-results.zip
  2. Yes, if I disable Fast Startup (aka Hybrid Shutdown), then it loads correctly. So it's definitely an issue of incompatibility w/ Fast Startup feature. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future Malwarebytes release. I'm kinda surprised that more people aren't reporting this problem. Or perhaps it's a problem with the way that this particular machine implements Fast Startup.
  3. I installed the latest build of Malwarebytes (trial version) on a client's Windows 10 machine (clean installation of latest 1709 build), and the Malwarebyes Tray Application doesn't want to load on startup. Curiously, it won't load on startup if I've done a "Shutdown", but it will load fine if I do a "Restart". I suspect it may have something to do with Win 10's Hybrid Shutdown feature. Anyone else experiencing this problem? (btw, I was able to sidestep this problem by adding an mbamtray.exe shortcut to the Windows "Startup" folder, but I'd rather have it working the right way, if possible).
  4. After updating to 3803, I've tried stopping/restarting MBAM service numerous times, and done numerous reboots. STILL can't enable Web Protection. I'm gonna try MBClean + re-install and see if that fixes it.
  5. The 3803 update does appear to fix the runaway RAM/resource usage issue, but it DOES NOT fix the issue with Web Protection being disabled. Anybody else experiencing this?
  6. I can confirm that the latest update fixes this issue. Thanks!
  7. Yes, it looks like a fix is coming. In the meantime, you can get around this annoyance by manually adding a Website exclusion for "symcd.com". That will exclude the entire domain from detection.
