I just updated my Bluebeam Revu to 21.0.30. Malwarebytes is flagging the Revu.exe files as MachineLearning/Anomalous.100% and quarantines the file. I believe this is a falso positive. Anyone seen this? Do I just add to the list to ignore?

Malwarebytes is blocking this site. I believe this is a false positive. https://notebooktalk.net/

Malwarebytes Blocks Network Printer
neoman replied to neoman's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
The disabling of the SNMP I did was on the printer driver port. Under printer properties, ports, configure. Then uncheck SNMP. My Ricoh printer has SNMP enabled and I left it. Just adjusted the driver. I think the only downside of this is if the printer goes off line, the computer will not be alerted (this is an assumption). -
not might but the other person we had some shared DB folders. I removed those shares so I never inspected them. I do not see anything like that on my machine.

There was another page of the note that had EGREGOR followed by random characters in it. I googled Egregor and found very few pages on it. Is that a new form of ransomware? The also sent me a photo of files they believe are encrypted and the files are renamed like "WFX02.DOT.ijawr"

Malwarebytes Blocks Network Printer
neoman replied to neoman's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Block penetration testing attached was off. I just tried the restore defaults and looks like nothing changed. I then re-enabled SNMP and printer is off line again. I exited malwarebytes, enabled snmp and printer stays online. So I do think it is related to malwayebytes. I am not sure if I need SNMP. Not sure what it does for me. -
Malwarebytes is blocking my network printer that is configured on a TCP/IP port. Printer is a Ricoh IM C4500 When I print, printer is shown as offline. I exit Malwarebytes, it prints. I just tried to narrow it down and I turned off in this order web protection, malware, ransomware, exploit. Printer did not go back online until exploit (so all 4 was off). I turned all back on right away and can print. However, if I wait 5 minutes, same thing happens. Printer is noted as off line and I need to exit malwarebytes to get it to print. If I go into the printer port properties, and turn off SNMP, the the printer shows and remains online. This is new and just recently happened. I do not know if it was malwarebytes or a windows update. Any ideas?

I have not had a chance to follow porthos directions in the earlier reply yet. I had done a complete scan of all files with both malwarebytes and windows defender. Nothing found. Is that a good sign that the Ransomware did not hit my machine?
-
Yes it does. Also Windows Defender on Win 10 ver 2004 build 19041.572. I have the setting in Malwarebytes to not register in windows security center and all Malwarebytes protect are on.

Someone I had a shared dropbox folder with was infected with ransomware. As of now, I do not beleive I am infected. i went ahead and left the shares. I scanned with malwarebytes, hitmanpro, and windows defender and it says my machine is clean. Is there anything else I should look for?

I just installed hte MiniTool and Malware blocked "PUP.Optional.FusionCore" I assume either a false positive or whatever it was, malware blocked it. I scanned the system and came up clean.
