  1. I have not had a chance to follow porthos directions in the earlier reply yet. I had done a complete scan of all files with both malwarebytes and windows defender. Nothing found. Is that a good sign that the Ransomware did not hit my machine?
  2. Yes it does. Also Windows Defender on Win 10 ver 2004 build 19041.572. I have the setting in Malwarebytes to not register in windows security center and all Malwarebytes protect are on.
  3. Someone I had a shared dropbox folder with was infected with ransomware. As of now, I do not beleive I am infected. i went ahead and left the shares. I scanned with malwarebytes, hitmanpro, and windows defender and it says my machine is clean. Is there anything else I should look for?
  4. I have having the freezing problem. Not just chrome, but other apps. If I exit Malwarebytes, issue goes away. Started yesterday.
  5. I just installed hte MiniTool and Malware blocked "PUP.Optional.FusionCore" I assume either a false positive or whatever it was, malware blocked it. I scanned the system and came up clean.
  6. I am on exchange servers. One is MS 365. I do not have PST. I have this issue on three machines I use. All on Win 10 Creator's update. I have tried rebuilding the index, and sa,e thing happens. Hopefully MS will put out a fix this week.
  7. I have this issue too and think it is a MS issue and not MB. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_win10/outlook-2016-search-broken-again-with-something/a3f87d54-15c6-4bc9-8275-0d9bd7863b1c https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/oemail-osearch/outlook-2016-something-went-wrong-and-your-search/a6c8c767-9662-4358-94a7-90091c864a27
  8. Me too. Realtime Protection and Malware Protection keep turning off.
  9. It just happened a second time. Here is an image of what it quarantined.

  11. This morning I saw a popup from Malwarebytes that said Ransomware blocked and outlook crashed. I could not restart outlook (error said I did not have access to the outlook.exe). I looked in the malware bytes log and there was nothing there noting what I saw with the pop up. I did a scan of the computer with Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, and Trendmicro House call and system was clean. I restarted the system and outlook worked fine. Note, when this happened, I did not click on any links in any emails or websites. I was just typing an email. I assume this was a false positive
  12. Thanks. It appears to be only that one site. Replicated on two user profiles on the same computer. Along with malwarebytes and hitman pro, I also ran trend micro house hall, bit defender adware removal and MS safety scanner and all said the computer is clean.
  13. Hi. I posted this in the wrong subforum at https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/173873-chrome-popup-virus/ and posting it here now. I Went to a website a couple times and got this popup. I force closed chrome and did not hit ok or anything. Ran malwarebytes and hitman pro and both found nothing. I have not gotten this from any other website. Is this a popup generated from an infected website or something on my computer? thanks
