  1. Ha, that solved the problem. I switched to no proxy setting, and was able to activate my license. In the future, do I need to continue using no proxy setting or can I use proxy again to update virus database? Since I mostly use my PC at work and must use proxy for internet. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help. I'm always satisfied with MBAM helping team. Keep up the awesome work

  3. Hi, I'm running MBAM ver 2.1.8.1057, Windows 7 Professional SP1, 64 bit. I've purchased premium license and already got my ID and key. I want to activate my license but always get this error: You must be connected to internet to activate. There's definitely nothing wrong with my internet connection. I'm using a proxy and I've set the IP in Update Settings. I also have AVG antivirus installed, but I've temporarily disabled it. I tried restarting my PC, but still no luck. Any suggestion on how to solve this? Thanks. PS: I tried to run the software tool http://tools.malwarebytes.org/traceroute_malwarebytes_cdn.exe(got the link from another thread), but it said the version is not compatible.
