  1. Hi pal1000, Thank you so much for the prompt and clear answer. As I already have Maxthon installed I will now leave it closed and go to rename the executable in program files. Thanks, once again.
  2. Hi, I have realised that I didn't ask the questions "At which point do I rename the executable of the Maxthon Browser ? Before or after installation of the Maxthon Browser and do I install Anti Exploit Free before or after I have installed Maxthon in it's renamed form or ,conversely, after I have just renamed the executable.
  3. Hi, I wonder if any one can tell me for sure if Anti Exploit Free works with the Maxthon Browser ? Also , if not, will it offer any other protection or would it be pointless having it on my system? Thanks for any help offered.
  4. Hi, I first posted this in the wrong place (I think) so apologies for duplication. I have quarantined some infected System 32 files which I presume could be needed for the PC to work correctly. Does anyone know if it is possible to repair or replace thse files or are they nothing crucial ? Any help would be appreciated. Below is the log. Regards Alex. 5. Hi, I hope I am in the right place, apologies if not. I have just quarantined some files but note they are system 32 files which I presume are needed for the PC to run right. Is it possible to replace or repair the said files or is it nothing to worry about ? Any help would be appreciated as I haven't got a clue.
