  1. Seems to be, the 1.0.103 Component fixed it in the last build and now it's broken again.
  2. That might be what fixed the issue. I might have gotten it while I had 16170 and didn't realize it until I got 16176.
  3. I had done a clean install of the CU when the ISO was released, then installed MB3. But Defender was off then and off with 16170. Defender only turned back on with 16176.
  4. Win 10 build 16176 was released last Friday and things have changed again. With this current build MB no longer turns Defender off. Definite weirdness. LOL
  5. I also didn't disable MB and had no issue going from 15063 to 16170.
  6. So far all is OK. Will have to test to see if protections are all ON with a restart. But that only happens after the 1st reboot after a new build.
  7. Just a head's up. Microsoft started releasing Redstone 3 today with build 16170.
  8. I did what they advised and uninstalled MBAM before getting the new download. I was not asked for a restart after the uninstall, but during the install of the newer build. All my protections were on when the install was done.
  9. Just got the latest Beta CU 4. A suggestion that when you uninstall a prior version it should tell you to restart your PC, not wait until you are in the middle of the new install.
  10. https://www.neowin.net/news/doubleagent-attack-may-be-able-to-take-full-control-of-your-antivirus Any MalwareBytes comment on this article Maurice?
  11. Since when is MB not an AV? First I've ever heard that. And just a head's up that most all AV's (Kaspersky, Norton, etc.) all shut Defender off because they are considered the primary AV's, not Defender.
  12. That's been for several builds. Defender is now seeing MB as the primary AV. You can set Defender to do periodic scans or scan manually.
  13. Maurice, my MB icon is hidden, but it is the pop up in the bottom right corner that I see. I tried your suggestion, not sure it will make a difference since in the last several builds the new Defender now sees MB as my AV. They used to both coexist. LOL
  14. It does it at the very end of the Updating (3 phases) when you 1st log on and get your desktop. It hasn't done it since then.
  15. After getting build 15061 on the 1st boot it popped up that Real Time Protection was off. Seems to only do it when we get a new build of Win 10.
  16. Yes they are, but the 1607 changed to 1703 last build. So a good sign we are getting close to RTM for Insiders.
  17. No, just Defender and MB Premium. I'll see what it does in the AM, after a shutdown.
