  1. After a couple of weeks playing this game (which is awesome!) i noticed today that MBAM is blocking outgoing connection via the game application and the type of alert is Risk ware. Now, the game seems to work fine even if this flag comes up by MBAM. But could this have to do with dedicated server hostings? details about the flagging:
  2. Happened to my friend, he updated his to 4.1.2 now.. though he had the 4.1 version before that.
  3. Not responding to my question, eh? Suggesting people to rather exclude their torrenting application from being analyzed by web feature of mbam as it triggers BSOD's.
  4. Error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mwac.sys product: Malwarebytes Web Protection company: Malwarebytes VPN + torrent application seems to be a common factor to these BSOD's caused by mwac.sys. Am i right? And if so, why?
  5. Hi! Okey so i have vmware and running and virtual machine learning linux... the only thing i had running on it was Firefox with addons settings open and extensions NordVPN and "Cookie AutoDelete". And this popped up on my host machine where i have MBAM -Blocked Website Details- Malicious Website: 1 , C:\Windows\SysWOW64\vmnat.exe, Blocked, -1, -1, 0.0.0 -Website Data- Category: Trojan Domain: downloads.otmwumj6qw5em0zb.me IP Address: Port: 443 Type: Outbound File: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\vmnat.exe I have no clue what could have caused this as it's a new virtual machine also... Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance
  6. Yeah, thought so! Thanks again. Must i have enabled the "register" manually or is it on by default when installing MBAM?
  7. Gah, so again what is recommended if i have MBAM premium? I'd chosen windows defender + mbam as a good combo as MBAM doesn't pick up some that the AV would... but if anyone would recommend only MBAM premium i would listen to that especially if there is any performance boost by only running MBAM premium.
  8. Uhm I'm confused why would MBAM turn of windows defender if it's "registered"? I guess you mean that if i have the option ticked in MBAM it will de-activate the windows defender and if it's off it will activate windows defender?
  9. Thanks that worked! However what is recommended? to have register malwarebytes in the windows security center or not?
  10. Okey so i have MBAM premium and windows defender as AV, however just now my smart screen is saying that my detection of PUA's is disabled and when i try to activate it doesn't allow me for some reason... i thought it was MBAM blocking it but i guess i'm wrong here. Also i downloaded EICAR test however not MBAM and not Windows defender detects it, however if i try to upload to virustotal the smartscreen says malicious file... however this was quite worriesome as i could download the file and move it around without anything noticing it. Is PUA' supposed to be deactivated with windows built in if MBAM is installed and if so shouldn't it recognize MBAM as safety measure for it as it does with the AV?
  11. Hi! Thank you for your help! Made all changes that the site you refered to and also made the fixlist with FARBAR and the problem seems to be gone! See attachment for fixlist! Fixlog.txt
  12. Okey so my computer is forcing re-starts of the entire system when i try to shut down. I have checked wake up magic packets by net adapters and more and disabled everything but it keeps re-starting. I have scanned with MBAM (prem version) and with windows defender but can't find anything(Note a couple of days ago i got a notification about a trojan on my system however i couldn't find it and not sure if it was cleaned but as i said i've made scans after that not finding anything so..) as i haven't made an entire reset of my computer on years i suspect it could be a virus or malicous software that forcing these restarts to keep acting like a bot for the hijacker. Here is some information about my current setup on the pc: Here are the logs for FARBAR, MBAM: See attachments. Thanks in advance! MBAM quickScanSfang.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  13. For some reason i couldn't remove the quote at all... well my question is, why does this occur whenever i start the Tibia client which is a game? Also what is that site/IP ? Thanks in advance
  14. I have this same problem... how is this not fixed yet?
  15. Hiyah! I recently decided to add lines to my hosts file in order to block ads due to the fact i cant block ads via steam web browser... My question is if it's safe to do so? Everyone mentioned this guys github and his hosts files: https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts Now, i added Unified hosts = (adware + malware) one... Should i worry about anything? I basically copy pasted everything what's inside it... Thanks in advance!
  16. Alrighty, so if i wanted these services analyzed would that be the right forum to request it?
  17. Hi! I recently updated windows 10 again which contained quite much. The problem i'm having now is that i get the warning pop-up: The problem is, that i have KAV as AV but using MBAM as my scanning software which i use once per month (nothing is activated on MBAM until i do the scan) So is it problem to remove this pop-up that keep warning me? Looks like this: Thanks in advance!
  18. Thanks for the reply! About Virustotal it only search for 'already' flagged signatures if i'm not mistaken, as the services i was mentioning are using a company/services they probably had their files verified and obviously one of them had it their application crypted so it would stay under the radar of AV's. That's the reason why i would like to find a place where they actually analyze the file. To watch for outgoing connections/dropping files where they shouldn't go etc. At the removal forum i thought it was only for those who already were infected and wanted it removed hence the name. Would be good if the board could be specified also for those who would like a check-up. Either way thanks =)
