Hello guys, so this new pup appeared on my computer the other day called yellowsend and I looked it up and it turns out to be a browser hijacker. So I followed the removal instructions and deleted all suspicious recently download programs but there weren't any, so then I went to the extensions on all my browser but then again there was no suspicious extentions or anything actually. Finally I went to the scheduled task manager and couldn't find an unknown task. It seems like the virus should've been gone but the Malawarebytes still detects this yellowsend while doing a heuristic analysis. Pls help I tried everything and seems like it's not on my pc but it still shows up. BTW here is my log Malwarebytes Anti-Malware www.malwarebytes.org Scan Date: 9/5/2015 Scan Time: 3:43 PM Logfile: Scanlog.txt Administrator: No Version: 2.1.8.1057 Malware Database: v2015.09.05.06 Rootkit Database: v2015.08.16.01 License: Free Malware Protection: Disabled Malicious Website Protection: Disabled Self-protection: Enabled OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 CPU: x64 File System: NTFS User: Eric Scan Type: Threat Scan Result: Completed Objects Scanned: 327140 Time Elapsed: 7 min, 29 sec Memory: Enabled Startup: Enabled Filesystem: Enabled Archives: Enabled Rootkits: Disabled Heuristics: Enabled PUP: Enabled PUM: Enabled Processes: 0 (No malicious items detected) Modules: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys: 1 PUP.Optional.YellowSend, HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\UNINSTALL\YSPackage, Delete-on-Reboot, [9fabd557127911258fea388812f2a957], Registry Values: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Data: 0 (No malicious items detected) Folders: 0 (No malicious items detected) Files: 0 (No malicious items detected) Physical Sectors: 0 (No malicious items detected) (end)
