  1. Looks like I got a Rootkit, and have read many replies here that seem similar. I have tried running a wide assortment of Spyware/Malware programs just to have them close when I try to run the scan (Malwarebytes, Spybot, Adaware, the list goes on) After unsuccessfully trying to use these programs to scan, the icon for the program goes to a broken shortcut I had Avira Antivirus installed prior to the infection, and I was able to update as well as scan with it 2 Viruses were found and quarantined TR/FraudPack.rix TR/Agent.42375 In addition, IE/Firefox are not allowing Active X to run and I am unable to get to the options to change this setting. Any attempts to go to a security website, reverts me to a random website (Chrome is unaffected).
