  1. I don't remember another blue screen, I suppose I could have had
  2. I took a bit looking for that file :) I had to run it twice to find it I deleted the one from last year or so mbst-grab-results.zip
  3. Suddenly a blue screen came on says Your Device Had some problems and will restart On the left side of the screen it had one of those squares that people scan with thier phones cameras. It was doing something Then my computer restarted. When it happened I had done a search on Facebook for Driving Safe videos, it was showing one video after the other, then that happened. This just happened I ran the Free Version Malwarebytes Scan just now, it did not show anything. I have Windows 10, HP computer
  4. Thank You for the link I got into my Account App control and turned off Start Edge on startup :) I will see how that works :)
  5. When I first turn on computer Microsoft Edge comes on automatically, it is the browser that pops up, and it changes the wallpaper every day I don't use Edge on this computer, I do use it now and again, so don't want it stripped out. I use Google Chrome most of time. What is issue? I think it is slowing down, google chrome, I have slight buffering, mouse freezes here and there, when I try to do things fast(As you want to do when you've done something 10,000 times) My solution(So far) is first thing I use CCleaner to force shut down Edge by cleaning, when I start up the computer. Just wondering if there is a simple fix? I have Windows10 on HP computer
  6. It is a bit better , but it is still doing that. I try to go to a web site, it is no internet, then I reload or wait a couple minutes and there is internet - over and over and over. I have noticed if I unplug and re plug the Wifi router(I have a direct line to it, not using wifi for computer) it works better. Also something that may or may not be relevant: We have been doing Church on Sunday on a zoom call. And the last couple Sundays it has been what I call buffering all during the call. The preacher suddenly freezes on the video then goes real fast to catch up, then talks normally, then does it again, and again, and again - all throughout the zoom call. I wonder if its not me, not my computer etc but - could it be the entire towns internet system ?
  7. What is HP Connection Optimizer ? What happens when I uninstall it ? Will my computer still get internet ?
  8. Example: I am at Facebook scrolling and I cant scroll. Then: A pop up on the left side says * Your Computer is Offline * Then in a few minutes a pop up comes up in the same place *Your computer is Online* Then I can scroll again on Facebook. What can I do to start figuring this out ? I have a new hp computer with windows 10 I have a cable hooking my computer to my wifi router then a cable to my home box thing (Internet, phone, Tv etc) This computer can work ether with WiFi or a Cable and I am using a Cable.
  9. I just checked and it is not blocking it now (At lease so far)
  10. Malwarebytes Browser Guard Blocking Cafepress Web Site, Just now , I have been going to Cafepress all morning, went to store and came back The Malwarebytes Brouser guard says : (Quote) Website blocked due to phishing Website blocked: www.cafepress.com Malwarebytes Browser Guard blocked this website because it may contain malware activity. We strongly recommend you do not continue. (End Quote) (I Copied and Pasted the Warning) and it (Malwarebytes Browser Guard it Blocking Cafepress.com. Date 11-11-2020 Time 3:54 Pm Central Time I am using the New Version of Google Chrome on Windows 10 , New HP Computer Desktop I did a Online search for Cafepress and clicked the link for Cafepress.com and it blocked it. I clicked my stored links in my browser and it blocked it. My Web of Trust app shows the Green Circle saying its ok. Can someone see if * Cafepress.com is ok as I make Designs on Cafepress and make commsion. And use it a lot, and I need to be making Designs.
  11. It let me check my passwords just now and one I changed said security breach again, so I changed it again
  12. So anyway, yesterday i get home from work (10-10-20) and need to do my computer stuff and turn on computer ( HP Windows 10 new computer - well under a year old), and it is running slow not loading my scanner , so I hit restart and it just sets there restarting, so i go run a errand at the store. Come back and still restarting so long story short - i unplug it and plug back in and it starts up. I open googles chrome and a *Pop Up* shows up Security Breach , you need to change a bunch of passwords ! Not being very trusting of Pop Ups I do a search (Using my Kindle Tablet) and Security Breach is a new google thing) so I look and I have to change 27 sites passwords ! I freak out ! Do I have a Virus ? Keylogger ? Hacker attacking my computer like in the TV shows ? What ? The Pop Up / Google Chrome wont point the finger at any of that! Apparently it is much to Politicly Correct to give me even a hint of how this happened so I can do some preventive ! I mean that is carrying PC (Politicly Correct) crap to far ! Did someone hack into my passwords that Google has on my system ? Googles Cloud ? Did google scan those web sites that I use those passwords on ? Some of the sites that it wanted me to change passwords on no longer exist, or have moved. Some passwords it wants changed are not even my stuff - like years ago my wife put in her Moms face book/etc that has not even been used for years , so that would not be connected to my stuff - except it is in my Google Chrome/ Cloud I suppose. Does my Google Chrome have a Virus ? Invisible App ? How can I figure it out ? I can go to Google Chrome Settings and go to Privacy and Security and then go to Safety Check and then go to Chrome Can Keep You Save From Data Breaches, Bad Extension's and More then Click Check Now It says I have to wait 24 hours to check passwords (Chrome can not check your passwords wait 24 hours) I did change my passwords on the sites that would let me, I had to email one site. It is to Politicly Correct to tell me how / why / what happened and what can I do I do have Malwarebytes browser extension and unblock origin on my google chrome. On Google Chrome I clicked Enhanced Protection And I updated Google chrome Any Ideas ?
  13. I make designs at Cafepress while putting in a design and fixing to start sizing a design on tshirts etc this came up : I deleted the tab and went back and it did it again. I went to the main page(Cafepress) like I just got there and it did not do that. Here is what it said: Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from members.cafepress.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). 14. I wonder if it is staticie lines or something > I am on internet and rain storm started , I saw lightning flash outside and it did it again ! I opened a tab and it said * No Internet - then a few seconds later it let me load page. How can I figure out if it is static ? Popping up here and there ?
  15. Every so often my new HP computer with windows 10 says no internet (When it has internet) for a moment, then I see briefly Downloading Proxy Script. What got me more concerned, I went to eBay where I had ordered something(Dog Tick Stuff) and everything working correctly but when I opened a page to see if the seller had shipped my item - that page said * No Internet (All the rest of my tabs had internet.) Then it showed it saying * Downloading Proxy Script * Then that Tab worked correctly So, It says No Internet Briefly Randomly , usually when first start up - then downloading proxy script. Could that be a virus ? What is proxy script needing to be downloaded ? I have the Free Malwarebytes on this computer to scan also Zone Alarm and Adwarecleaner On my Google Chrome Browser I use the Malwarebytes Browser Add On and also the U Block Origin add on Side note: I also use CC Cleaner to clean Plus after cleaning with CC Cleaner , for the first time I did the CC Cleaner Health Check and it showed 255 trackers which it got rid of a couple days ago.
  16. I put the Add On Don't add custom search engines on Chrome Then went to Youtube Then went to favorite authors blog Yaaah Chrome did not put those in as Other Search Engines , so I did not have to delete them 🙂 Now I can do a happy dance as that saves 2 or 3 minutes of my time- every single day 🤸‍♂️
  17. I found that Don't add custom search engines and started to install it but a pop up said that that it (The add on) can read and change all my data on the web sites that I visit. I did not like it able to read and change my data so I did not get that. Thank You though on the information
  18. Why does Chrome keep adding search engines ? Every day before I turn off my computer, I have to go in and delete the extra search engines in google chrome. Example: I go to youtube to watch a video - chrome adds youtube as a search engine. I go to a author I likes blog - chrome adds the blog as a search engine. I could go on all day. I feel like when I have had computer issues in the past part of it my have been a search engine being added. So , like I said before I turn off my computer I have to delete all the extra search engines that were added to chrome. That is getting old
