  1. Managed to resolve mine. Used the mb-clean-3.1.0.1031.exe and uninstalled the application, rebooted and downloaded and reinstalled, all previous problems gone.

  4. i don't have the high CPU usage yet do have Web Protection not starting.
  5. I am now experiencing Web Protection stops working and when I manually start it its stuck at Starting... yet never starts
  6. Hello All, Many thanks for the suggestions yet I have set an exception for this app as I have used the Mac version for many years, so I do trust the company. The PC version was garbage when it first came out yet it's improved over time. I use it more not for cleaning the registry but to clean cookie, tmp files and such like. What made me enquire is that CCleaner is never blocked by Malwarebytes, so I wondered why. Many thanks again, Morrile
  7. Hello, It seems MacPaws version of a notorious registry cleaner by the same name is now been deemed as a PUP. Is this an error or is MacPaws version truly a unwanted program? I have attached a screenshot of this product with the same name as known PUP. Regards, Morrile
  8. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-39899646 it seems the UK NHS have fallen foul to Ransomware; how very embarrassing, yet a golden opportunity for Malwarebytes to come to the rescue :-)
  9. Hello Arthi, I have downloaded and installed the later version of MBAE and all browsers are working fine. I have Kaspersky set at maximum and noticed that with this update the browsers open a little faster than before. I will monitor it for this week and will report back if any issues found, else you will hear nothing from me. Many thanks for the file Morrile
  10. So it was Kaspersky causing us all the problems, thanks for the update. Since then it's now all working as it should as I do have Kaspersky yet no other browsers were affected other than Chrome, so assumed it was MBAE.
  11. Well, some good news. Chrome is working as before. Whilst MBAE is still version 1.09.1.1261 I was disabling it just to open Chrome and then re-enable to be on the safe side yet now I don't. Chrome opens without any problems whilst MBAE is fully enabled. Not sure what has changed as I have not made any changes my end, so I am assuming an update to MBAM has fixed it.
  12. Many thanks for other adding their comments for Chrome, so I am not alone. I do have Firefox and that works fine and I did install Chrome Canary yet that also get's blocked. So I am guessing it's now a waiting game until a solution is found?
  13. Now Chrome will not start unless MBAE is disabled :-( Any ideas why?
  14. Hello, Google now doesn't start unless Anti-exploit is disabled. Is anyone else have this issue? Is there a workaround other than disabling Anti-exploit? Morrile
  15. Hello Daledoc1, I had inadvertently selected "always scan encrypted connections" rather than "Scan Encrypted connection upon request from protection components" and that resolved the problem. All working as expected with no issues. Thanks for your assistance, much appreciated. Morrile
