  1. Sorry to read that. Someone from the staff will perhaps help to find a solution.
  2. Hi @mightaswell I had the same problem and solved it as described here :
  3. @TempLost and @Jekko Problem solved. - Uninstalled MB via the control panel and rebooted as asked - Ran the mb-clean tool which works for every MB version (look at the "readme.txt" file) : https://malwarebytes.app.box.com/v/mb-clean and rebooted (many registry keys and files removed) - Re-installed the 24Feb version and rebooted. Everything works fine, now. mb-cleanresult.txt mb-checkResult.txt readme.txt
  4. @Norwian Hi, Is http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/ blocked ? With what browser(s) ?
  5. Hi @TempLost, I was in the same case as you and after launching the .bat file, chameleon is visible now and the protection button has become active again. But since I had renamed the desktop icon, I can not test the auto-protection easily anymore. Have you done it?
  6. No, I don't get block notification from MB. The messages in the four browsers are nearly the same : "This page can't be reached..." : No report either. So, no visual confirmation from MB.
  7. @Jekko Just tried, but the same résults. Finaly, this is this test page : http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/ which doesn't work with IE11, Chrome and Edge, and today Firefox. The other one : http://52.21.84.70/ works fine with every browser.
  8. Hi @Jekko 1- Yesterday, exactly as you said. Everytimes I clicked the two test url, the page said "If you are able to reach....". 2- No, web protection is "on" since the installation, no problem with that. Today, things are as described in my second post. 3- Yes, indeed, it is. What changed between yesterday and today : Under Settings -> Protection, "Enable self-protection module early start" is "on", but yesterday, the button seemed inactive and showed "off". I hope the solution will come soon. Thank you for the response.
  9. Today : There are two pages to test : http://52.21.84.70/ and http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/ The first works fine with IE11, Edge, Chrome and Firefox. The second works fine only with Firefox. With the other browsers, it gives "The page can't be reached...". I will check again tomorrow, in case this program works well only on odd days.
  10. For me too, but not fully. There are two pages to test : http://52.21.84.70/ and http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/ The first works fine with IE11, Edge, Chrome and Firefox. The second works fine only with Firefox. With the other browsers, it gives "The page can't be reached...". As said @Super Dave perhaps a DNS problem ?
  11. What does that mean : - "....so that you can finally replace your traditional antivirus." - "With the launch of Malwarebytes 3.0, we are confident that you can finally replace your traditional antivirus, " https://blog.malwarebytes.com/malwarebytes-news/2016/12/announcing-malwarebytes-3-0-a-next-generation-antivirus-replacement/
  12. - Web protection not working Test with : iptest.malwarebytes.org - Blocking the first use of "Office" applications (2016 version).
  13. Hi, The first time I installed this last version, it gave that : Difficult to understand, isn't it ? So, I uninstalled it, removed the leftovers, rebooted, reinstalled, re-rebooted and wanted to test it. The result is that everything is "on" (web protection, exploit, etc...) but when I click the web page test, it says me that the protection is disabled. Tried this : If it is your Website Protection having issues, please try the following two things: Under Settings -> Protection, turn on "Enable self-protection module early start". Then reboot and see if your protection module starts up If that doesn't work, under Settings -> Protection, turn off the option for "Enable self-protection module". Then reboot and see if your protection module starts up but the buttons are not active (they weren't already before uninstall, the first time). Else uninstalling a third time...is there a solution to get a MB3 working fine ? Thank you. mb-checkResult.txt

  15. Hi, It looks like the problem is fixed with the new 3.0.6. PowerPoint (Office 2016 Family and student) works fine, now, with the default settings.
  16. That looks strange.... Mine is faster, but at least something is scanned.
  17. Thank you so much. Now that I know that it is known, it is certain that I am less worried. For me : it reverts only after a boot in safe mode. Do you think that I'm a lucky guy ? But if it is a "known issue" (as hundreds posted via this forum) I am not worried, a "patch" will be posted as soon as possible).
  18. Many thanks for that. We're very lucky.
  19. Hi, It looks like ATM that MB3 is a "tool" as many others ones, not more. Not sure that it could detect anything. It's better to keep a true anti-virus.
