  1. Hi this problem happened to me again a few days ago but I already understood what is the cause for my case. If you have more then one protection software instaled on your PC(MB and KIS for example), make sure in both programs you add an exclusion rule to all the other program executable files and DLLs (and/or folders). for example if you don't add MB EXE/DLLs to KIS exclusion rules, sometimes (super rarely, atleast until previous MB version), when KIS is doing an automatic scan, MB suddenly disable Web protection and I can't reenable it. but after KIS finishs the scan, MB is able to reactivate Web Protect again as if nothing happened.
  2. I already solved the problem with livechatinc, that link above didn't work for me at the time, but I reached them another way. my question was solved next day. thanks
  3. there is an option to deactivate all, but nothing directly related to the autorenewal feature. by the way your site says to contact MB Suport so I though about this forum.
  4. Hi, i discovered recently in my new Malwarebytes account that I had 2 subscriptions. one is a lifetime subscription, and one more recent with auto-Renewal active (this one will end in Oct). at some point, long ago, I lost my old lifetime subscription key but that time i discovered you didn't use those type of subscriptions anymore so I though that it would't work anymore... seems I was wrong and its still active and it works in MB3. obviously I will use the lifetime subscription so, how do I cancel the auto-Renewal feature? Thanks
  5. no problems were found at all with chkdsk I am thinking this problem was with old version 1.0.96. things are stable for now. i need to do a stress test here. chk.txt
  6. I must say that I must agree withn you in that. since some time ago I am planning to do a clean format and reinstall windows from scratch. even more, after this Creators upgrade from microsoft, for some reason I can't upgrade my current windows 10 :p. I am planning to do this later in the summer, since, for now, it doesn't have any fatal flaw and it works for what I need. about the rest I will do those later today. Thanks for care
  7. web protection module turned off by itself without any warning. if i try turn it on, it freezes in the "initializing" state, and if I try turn it on in MBtray icon web protection stays gray after click on it, and can't do anything about it for some minutes. everything else works fine. fastest way to solve this is restarting PC. while MB component was in version 1.0.75 this was happening pratically with every protection module and it was frequent, in 1.0.96 it was much less frequent BUT only with web protection (at least with me). I just noticed you updated MB component to 1.0.103, when did you release this to be an automatic update for MB? I didn't noticed when this update was installed. if it was 3 or more days ago, then the problem started less then 3 days ago, this time web protection turned off 2 times, each time was when MB started its schedule daily scan (or while it was doing it). if it was today or yesterday ofcourse I don't know if the problem is really solved or not. because it needs more time to see if problem is solved. hmm my attackments says I already had latest update installed at the time I put them here, i don't know if this happened on the previous persion. all MB modules are working fine at the moment. thanks for the fast support and continue your good work, each new component update seems to make MB more and more stable PS: please can you change the title for a better description of the problem? Like "Web protection still turns off, this time while doing a Schedule scan". Thanks
  8. sure, in the previous version this was much more frequent. in the latest version it took some time to come back, i see some recent errors in the logs. Edit: ops sorry I just noticed this error isn't the same as in the title. my two posts here should be in here logs.zip Addition.txt FRST.txt MB-CheckResult.txt
  9. ps. problem with Webprotection persists after last update, but this time, this few days I noticed a behavior here. during a malware scheduled automatic scan the web protection just turn off on its own and I can't turn it back on for a while. this happened 2 times in a few days exactly at the same moment (during the scheduled scan). only to imidiatly solve this was restarting pc now, otherwise closing MB or now meabe only after 30m or more I can enable this component without problems, otherwise stays stuck in "initializing" without being able enable it at all. I changed the scheduled scan time to test this again for some days. PS: don't tell me it happens when MB is scanning a specific file in my PC, hmmmm
  10. lateast version with core 1.0.96 installed some days ago with the help of mb-clean tool, MB seems more stable and faster, but this web protection turning off out of nowhere issue persists. logs.zip FRST.txt Addition.txt MB-CheckResult.txt after attach the files, restarted MB app and everything is normal, like same problem, same solution as with the previous version.
  11. today, exploits protection turned off without any reason. seems all protection modules are aftected, this only happens most with web protection module. as always, I solved this by restarting malwarebytes app.
  12. I was planning to do that next time this occurr Version: 3.0.6.1469Component: 1.0.75Update: 1.0.1491 nayway, here... FRST.txt Addition.txt MB-CheckResult.txt logs.zip
  13. Hi, I am having the same problems listed here; web protection turning off witout any reason, today something different happens, Ramsonware protection turned off by itseft, instead of the usual web protection. well, I discovered that exiting current Malwarebyte 3 Tray app and starting Malwarebytes again solves the problem (all protection are turned on again after doing it). this happens like 1 time every week (rarely 2). my KIS is giving already full permission to MB to move freely, I didn't do a thing. I may be wrong assuming this but, if it was a conflict between MB and KIS, then one of them would stop working completly from the very start after installing one after the other. my MB version is the most recent one available do you still want the file reports you were asking before in this thread?
  14. Happy to report that the issue of this thread is solved in MBAM latest version (2.1.8.1057). the Self-Protection Module doesn't affect this app GUI anymore. Continue with your hard work with MBAM, in comparison to other malware protection tools, for me, this one is a great tool
