  1. Whenever I open the Command Prompt I get what is in the attached file. I found this on google: http://superuser.com/questions/610495/the-application-was-unable-to-start-correctly-0xc0000018-windows-8-x64 It says I need to delete some registry keys and reboot but it doesn't seem like a good idea... Anybody else know how to fix this issue?
  2. Honey where are you? Remember that jewelry store where you found that beautiful necklace? Yes, go on. And you wanted it and I told you would would have it some day? Yes honey thank you! And now that I have enough money to buy it... OMG Thank you! I'm at the bar just next to that shop.
  3. Basically just keep saying "Yes". "Can I take 5 minutes of your time?" "Yes" "Would you like to participate in a survey?" "Yes" "Do you prefer Pepsi or Coke?" "Yes" "Sir, you must say Pepsi or Coke." "Yes" "Sir, are you just saying yes to everything I'm saying?" "Yes" *Hangs up*
  4. Thank you for the help! Fixed both issues! Solutions: Issue 1: I restarted and the icon started to appear again. Issue 2: Disabled self protection, restarted, deleted shortcut, enabled self protection, restarted. P.S. I wanted to delete the shortcut so I could move it to a different location on my computer, so it would be in my Apps/Security folder.
  5. Two issues: I cannot see the malwarebytes logo in my system tray, but I do see mbam.exe in process explorer. When I try to delete or move the MBAM shortcut on my desktop, it asks for admin permissions and makes sure I want to delete the file in E:\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, not on my desktop. All of this happened after running the MBAM installer for 2.2.0.1024 then restarting. Help?
  6. I ran it, and after it failed to create a restore point I clicked the "X" button and nothing happened. I opened up Process Explorer to close it and it said access denied even after running it as administrator. Then I accidentally pressed any key to continue and it started closing all my programs. So in a panic, I reset my computer and it was gone. I'm running Windows 7 SP1 x64.
  7. Malwarebytes scans ran clean but after running HerdProtect it said an executable that was part of K-Lite Codec Pack was infected with Win32/Neshta.A. Here are the analysis results: http://www.herdprotect.com/knowledgebase_resource.aspx?sha1=7aae1c966bce3b0a6e99fce07aac28ee2a8247dc&u=71021d59-6c86-4868-9097-351588c8ead8&s=scanner&v=1.0.3.9 VirusTotal: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/b2787cab4879ecb30f9f6f01f7bd5c583c0515713c00ded3753757a335752c1e/analysis/1442509611/ MD5: 93d91df628a99c41583c9680137ac147 SHA1: 7aae1c966bce3b0a6e99fce07aac28ee2a8247dc SHA256: 2787cab4879
  8. I went into VirtualBox to was going to see a piece of software I wanted to install was also going to also install PUPs and now on that computer whenever I try to use Chrome it says this: Unable to connect to proxy server ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED. I am really frightened an afraid my PC has a virus. I have fixed the issue by unchecking "Use a proxy" but I am still afraid my pc has some kind of infection. I really just asking for some reassurance from somebody saying that VirtualBox does that sometimes.
  9. I don't know why this site is blocked. The site is a legit site where you can download a chrome extension to enhance your experience on the TastyCat community on plug.dj. The extension is legit an I use it all the time when on TastyCat or my own community. I believe this is a false positive, please unblock it!
  10. I'm trying to install Windows 7 onto another computer. Thank you for the feedback! And yes I know that this doesn't really fit with Malware removal but this was the closest section I could find on the site. Anyways thank you for the help!
  11. I also check MYWOT and the results are mixed as well: https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/magicaljellybean.com?utm_source=addon&utm_content=rw-viewsc
  12. I'm making a new computer and I need the product key of my current computer. I've wanted to install Magic Key Jellybean Key Finder, but I don't know if it's safe. Here is the download page: https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/I downloaded the keyfinder and scaned it on VirusTotal, but the results are mixed: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/b4847a422365b37e2777242d818814bd8250964b334e75b96fa6e640c24a6532/analysis/1433592798/
