  1. I just updated to package 1.0.26447 and re-scanned with no issues. I think we're good here. Thanks!
  2. Can I saw how frustrating it is that you can't see the whole row in the threat scan results. And when you export it, its still not the same as what it shows in that table. This is the text export of the results, identified as Malware.AI.4231592388. Apparently the uninstall script for Notepad++ is malware? ------------------------------------------------------ Malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.com -Log Details- Scan Date: 7/5/20 Scan Time: 2:52 AM Log File: 0cf526f0-be8c-11ea-963e-08626682a4b1.json -Software Information- Version: 4.1.2.73 Components Version: 1.0.972
  3. Done, will report if i run into it again
  4. Got a BSOD and WhoCrashed blames mwac.sys. Attached are my results and memory dump ( https://we.tl/t-xO92bKO72U ). On Sun 1/19/2020 1:13:33 AM your computer crashed or a problem was reported crash dump file: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP This was probably caused by the following module: mwac.sys (mwac+0x8C60) Bugcheck code: 0x13A (0x11, 0xFFFF8E88FA002100, 0xFFFF8E8906236EF0, 0x0) Error: KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mwac.sys product: Malwarebytes Web Protection company: Malwarebytes mbst-grab-results.zip
  5. Thanks for adding to my workload tomorrow when all the staff sees this popup and asks me if they have been hacked. A popup is NOT the place to advertise for your blog. Send me a newsletter email.... Worse you can't disable the notification. Really poorly handled.
  6. We use the software MacroExpress ( https://www.macros.com/ )to automate a lot of our work and yesterday Malwarebytes picked it up as ransomware and wants to delete it. I would like to keep using this software without it being deleted, this is a false positive.
  7. This site ( hxxp://structuralstonellc.com ) was previously hacked, the owners consulted with us to clean it up and move to a more secure host. I has been clean for a few months now, please review and if possible remove from the blacklist. Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer to assist.
  8. Hmm.. now maybe a question for Malwarebytes employees, can someone explain why you would want to disable certain features for a specific profile? For example, why wouldn't I want to have DEP Bypass protection enabled on the Other profile? Thanks!
  9. I found what I was looking for, it is in the program itself for those wondering as well. Settings->Advanced Settings See below:
  10. I remember a while back finding some documentation on what the actual differences are between each of the shield profiles. Does anyone know where to find that? It showed which techniques were employed for which profile to help make a decision on which profile to use. I noticed they recently added an MS Office profile and was curious how that differed from Other. Thanks!
